American singer-songwriter Porter Robinson is set to bring his SMILE! :D world tour to the country this coming December 8 at the Podium Hall in Mandaluyong City. This will be the first time that the Grammy-nominated artist will be performing in front of his Filipino fans.

This highly anticipated event is made possible by local concert promoter Live Nation Philippines who has been bringing several international acts to the country for several years now.

Porter, who embarked into a new pop era with his third studio album SMILE! :D, will be going on his biggest tour to date. He will be traveling across 20 countries and four continents from August 2024 to early 2025. 

The American singer and DJ will be starting his world tour in North America before flying to several Asian countries –– including the Philippines –– then Australia, Europe, and Latin America.

Fans of the talented artist can expect something new for his tour as he will debut a completely new full live band performance. He previously did this at several music festivals he headlined in such as Coachella and Second Sky –– both of which have been very successful.

Meanwhile, Porter expressed his excitement in his personal Instagram about his upcoming world tour. 

“NEW LIVESHOW, CAREER SPANNING SETLISTS, 70+ CITIES IN 5 CONTINENTS, A PARTY ALLL OVER THE WORLD I CAN’T WAITTT TO PLAY THESE SONGS FOR YOU,” he expressed.

Tickets for his concert start at ₱3,500 for Early Bird and ₱5,000 for Floor Standing. They will go on sale starting on May 3 from 12 p.m. onwards via SM Tickets outlets nationwide and SMTickets.com. 

Porter’s latest single, "Cheerleader," has amassed over one million views on YouTube and one million streams on Spotify in the first 24 hours after its release. 

The North Carolina-based musician first made his debut in 2014 with his hit album, Worlds. Since then the talented American artist has been making a name for himself and making sure every release has a different flavor to it. Some of his hit songs include "Shelter" and "Everything Goes On," among others.
