All-Filipino global pop group Hori7on offers a special gift for their Filipino Anchors with the release of their new digital comeback single Lucky last March 2, 2024.

Now available on all streaming platforms, their new single and its music video were released ahead of the Daytour Hori7on Comeback Showcase held at Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier in Taguig.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH, the members shared what their new single was all about.

“Ang Lucky is all about feeling lucky kasi may na-meet ka na someone special sa life mo, and for us I guess that’s our Anchors,” Hori7on member and leader Vinci shared.

“And I guess for everyone who will be listening to Lucky, parang kanya-kanyang interpretation kung sinong ang lucky para sa kanila or sinong special para sa kanila sa buhay nila,” he added.

Lucky is an upbeat and groovy song about one’s feelings for their loved ones.

When asked how they worked collaboratively on their single, Vinci revealed that he took part in creating the cover.

“I actually helped in making the album cover for the single. That’s my first time really helping creatively with our releases,” he said. “So, I hope in the future that can happen too.”

The members also expressed their desire to actively take part in coming up with future songs and to share their input during the creative process.

“We are definitely open to being able to give input on our discography, especially me, since I’m into songwriting recently,” Marcus shared.

“Kuya Kim is also into making music and siyempre si Jero marunong mag-choreo,” he explained further. “So, when the time comes, we’re definitely not closing our doors on being able to make our own songs in the future.”

The boy group had been staying in South Korea for their group promotions and training for the past several months. In December 2023, they came back to the Philippines to attend the Asia Artist Awards where they won the Focus Award.

During the media conference, the group revealed that they will be staying in the country for quite some time as they are set to perform their new single in different malls in Davao, Pampanga and Batangas.

“There’s a lot in store for our Anchors,” Vinci promised in an exclusive interview with PUSH.

Lucky is actually the first installation of the Daytour series that we will be releasing in the future pa,” he explained. “This is just the start of the project and I hope it really kicks off so we can really successfully release more of what we prepared.”

He further explained that the group is currently working on completing the other tracks that they hope to release soon. In the meantime, Hori7on still has a lot of fan events lined up.

When asked about releasing their album this year, the boy group member stated: “There is a possibility, but right now we are still finishing everything. There’s nothing yet pa na solid na there’s an album and there’s a date. We are still in the process of making new music, and we are always doing that.”

As they pave their own path as one of the global pop groups of this generation, Hori7on also shared who the artists they wanted to collaborate with in the future were.

“Para sa akin po ‘yung Enhypen, kasi nanggaling din po kasi sila sa isang survival show kaya ganun po yung gusto kong maka-collab (namin),” Kyler said.

“BINI po,” Reyster added. “Their songs are really good.”

The members also expressed how grateful they were when the Filipino girl group liked their cover for their hit song Pantropiko.

“They even commented. Some of the members liked the cover, so we are grateful that they liked it,” Vinci said.

Composed of Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus, the septet was formed through the Philippine-South Korean boy group survival reality show Dream Maker, in collaboration with MLD Entertainment, ABS-CBN and KAMP Global.

The group made their debut in July 2023 upon the release of their album Friend-Ship.
