Kapamilya actress Francine Diaz is excited about what 2024 might bring for her as she shared some photos from her recent trip to South Korea.

In an Instagram post, the Fractured star penned a heartfelt message welcoming the new year full of hope and excitement.

“Hello 2024! I have so many photos from 2023 and hindi ko kaya ipagsama lahat 😂 So here’s a few photos of me from our recent trip in Korea,” she wrote.

Francine also shared how her winter trip to Seoul made her feel sentimental and looked back on what her whole journey was in 2023.

“Our short trip made me feel so sentimental, a lot of things have happened in my life this year, so many good and bad memories, had to let go of some things and I had to let go of people who were once very special in my life, traveled to places that I never thought I’d be able to see, met new people, built new friendships, lost some friends, and gained new friends, I lost, I won, I laughed, I cried, everything,” she continued.

The 19-year-old actress also shared how she realized that things are not permanent in this world and everything happens for a reason.

“I used to drown myself in sadness, despair, and pain, and when I get too happy, I fear that the happiness I’m feeling will be taken away from me, so I thought… kailan ako magiging totoong masaya if I will keep on doing this to myself? That’s when I started to teach myself that if something bad happens, I’ll let myself absorb all of the pain in my heart, and if something good happens, I’ll be grateful for it and make sure to cherish every moment of it, everything happens for a reason, we should live it, love it, and learn from it, because that’s life, people come, people go, you cry, you smile, you get exhausted, then you fight again,” she said.

Francine then thanked everyone who supported her and wished a new year full of happiness and peace.

“I am grateful for the people who stayed, who loved me back, took care of me, and made me the happiest. I hope 2024 give us happiness, good health, success, abundance, strength, courage, love, peace, hope, growth, healing, and world peace.”

She continued: “So if you ever start your journey in your life this year, expect it won’t be easy, but don’t forget to remind yourself, that the battles you will experience won’t last forever, be grateful for every moment of your life, be grateful for both the bad and the good things, use it as your power to get through this year, kakayanin mo yan because He’s always with you.”

Days before celebrating the new year in Seoul with family, the actress also shared some photos with her mom and teased a recording project she had during her short trip.
