Thai singer and GOT7 member BamBam released his official cover of Raining in Manila by OPM band Lola Amour on social media, as a special gift to his Filipino fans.

He previously performed the song during his Area 52 concert in the country last September 22 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. 

As of writing, his post on X has already received 1.7 million views, 37,000 reposts, and 76,000 likes.

“for you Manila,” he wrote in the caption.

Meanwhile, Lola Amour expressed feeling "blown away" by BamBam's live performance of their song, which the latter covered during his concert in Manila. 

“Now watching:  [BamBam]’s Raining in Manila Cover… Spoiler alert: we were blown away. Thank you BamBam,” the band posted.

The Thai superstar expressed his excitement for the OPM band's music and expressed willingness to collaborate with them in the future - an offer Lola Amour was happy to accept.

“Thank you for such great music… maybe a collaboration in the future?” he asked.

“I love you guys music by the way, yall music [makes me] want to fall in love again with the wrong person,” he added.

Although there has been no official collaboration announced yet, many netizens have expressed excitement after seeing the interaction between the two. 

They have been discussing how "Raining in Manila" has become an unofficial K-Pop idol song, as a lot of people have covered and listened to the popular track.

“oooooomggg itong gulat sana diba bambam x lola amour,” a fan shared.

“BIG FAT YES FROM MEEEE!!!! Can't wait to hear one of my fave local bands and the loml in one song!!!!” another fan added.

Meanwhile, BamBam successfully capped off his concert in the country attended by thousands of his Filipino fans. 

He had several guests during his solo concert as well such as K-pop girl group DreamNote and the Pambansang Krungkrung, Sandara Park.
