K-Pop star Sandara Park returned to the It's Showtime stage to perform for her Filipino fans on Saturday, September 23.

The singer performed her latest single "Festival" in the noontime show. She also sang 2NE1's "I Am the Best." 

"Alam niyo sabi ng fans ko last visit ko daw sa Showtime six years ago. Hindi kasi ako nakapunta dahil sa COVID. I was really waiting for this moment na babalik ako sa Showtime," she said in a chat with the It's Showtime hosts after her performances.

When asked how she feels that her Filipino fans still love her very much after so many years, she thanked the Philippines as well as ABS-CBN which she credited as the company where everything started. 

"Kaya mahal na mahal ko ang Pilipinas eh at dito ako nanggaling 'di ba at lalo na dito sa ABS-CBN," she said.

Sandara jokingly added: "Pero nagtataka ako bakit wala ang picture ko sa wall sa labas? Ilagay niyo rin 'yung picture ko ha?"

The K-Pop idol also shared some of the Filipino cuisines she tried upon her arrival in the Philippines.

"Kagabi kumain ako ng sisig, salpicao, garlic rice and after the show pupunta ako sa favorite restaurant ko para kumain ng sinigang na hipon," she stated.

Dara, who recently released her self-titled album called "Sandara Park," invited her Filipino fans to listen to the songs from her new record. 

"I just released my first ever Korean album ang tawag sa album ay Sandara Park, ito yung first [solo] album ko after In or Out. After twentry years meron na akong solo album. Sana mahalin niyo ang album ko. I have five new songs so try to listen to it," she said.

Last June, Sandara traveled to the Philippines to shoot a South Korean reality show in Pampanga.

She also took to social media to thank her Filipino fans for still remembering and supporting her.

"Question! Pano nyo ba ako naalala hanggang ngayon kahit matagal nako wla sa Phil. Tv show. Sa halos lahat ng generation, naalala pa nila ako. Kahit sa mall, sa market, sa restuarant, sa lahat ng places🤩 kakagulat hehe I’m so happy!!!😍" she posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) back in June.
