Fans finally have their first look at Pokwang and Eugene Domingo in their much-anticipated big-screen team-up, Becky & Badette.

On Thursday, September 21, The IdeaFirst Company unveiled the official film poster of Becky & Badette showing Pokwang and Eugene standing back-to-back while dressed in matching preppy clothes.

“Para sa beshies na mataas ang pangarap at mas mataas ang heels! BECKY & BADETTE starring Eugene Domingo & Pokwang,” the post read.

Earlier, producer Quantum Films also shared a glimpse of what to expect from Becky & Badette in a teaser trailer released on YouTube.

The almost two-minute clip featured guest appearances from Encantadia stars Iza Calzado, Karylle, and Sunshine Dizon. 

Becky & Badette is directed by award-winning filmmaker Jun Robles Lana, who also helmed the films Kalel, 15; Die Beautiful; and Bwakaw.

Becky & Badette wrapped up filming in July. In a lengthy Instagram post, Pokwang expressed her gratitude to Eugene, Lana, the whole cast and crew of Becky & Badette.

“Last night 7-29-2023 nakatapos kami ng isang napaka-sayang pelikula at nangangako kaming lalabas kayo sa sinehan ng naka-tawa. Grabe ang eksena mula umpisa ng kwento hanggang sa matapos, promise tatawa ka lang malilimutan mo mga daot sa paligid mo. Hahaha. Kaya paka abangan niyo sila #BeckyandBadette,” she said.

“Thank you direk Jun Lana Robles grabe ka ang taba ng iyong utak. Woohoo salamat sa laugh trip na pelikula na napapanahon,” she added. “And to my sis, idol @eugenedomingo_official, pang-apat na movie na natin ito pero iba’t ibang atake lagi at napapamangha mo ako. … Love you sis!!!”

Joining Pokwang and Eugene in their latest project are Romnick Sarmienta and Agot Isidro. So far, no release date for Becky & Badette has been announced, only that it is “coming soon.”

Pokwang and Eugene have worked together before in the limited Amazon Prime Video series Ten Little Mistresses, which was also written and directed by Lana. They also previously starred in Apat Dapat, Dapat Apat; D’ Lucky Ones; and Nobody, Nobody But… Juan.
