Even before she entered showbiz, actress and celebrity mom Marian Rivera had long taken an interest in makeup. When she became an actress, she learned from the different celebrity makeup artists she worked with.&ldquo;Nahilig ako mag-makeup siguro nung napasok ako sa showbiz. Kasi way, way back okay na ako sa mga lip tint. Pero nung nag-artista na ako and part of the job talaga, so nag-invest na ako na kailangan talaga maganda yung quality ng makeup. Mahilig talaga ako eh.&ldquo;Nung nag-artista ako pinag-aralan ko siya. Pag mini-makeup-an ako ng mga makeup artists, nag-o-observe ako. So from there, pag hindi ko alam, nagpapaturo ako. Like before ang first ko si Bambbi Fuentes, and then Juan Sarte, and then si Steve Doloso. Sinabi ko turuan nila ako kung paano gawing blend, paano gawin ang magandang kulay for me. Binigyan nila ako ng eye shadow na mermaid kasi di ba Little Mermaid, kaya kung makikita niyo may glitter glitter ngayon yung mata ko.&ldquo;Pero depende kasi. Ang dami kasing options for Kiko eh. So depended mood mo, depende sa event na pupuntahan mo. Ako ngayon yung Unlimited blush nga. Kasi parang daytime naman tayo. So medyo pinkish na. And then the lip gloss, the 3D hydrate gloss, nude lang ang preferred ko dun.&rdquo;Marian even discussed about her look for the GMA ball.&ldquo;Dun sa GMA ball medyo reddish naman ang ginamit ko. Ang usapan namin ng stylist, gusto ko yung kumportable ako na hindi ko kailangan makisabay sa trend. Yes puwede naman siguro once in a while pero babagayan pa rin sa pupuntahan, babagayan pa rin sa status ko ngayon bilang as a mom. So siguro mas concerned ako dun kasi may dalawang anak ako. For me putting makeup hindi ibig sabihin na pag naglagay ka ng makeup insecure ka, it&rsquo;s the way of how you express yourself eh. Ngayon kasi, parang sinasabi mo na your face is a canvas, it&rsquo;s up to you kung paano mo gagawin mo para sa sarili mo to express yourself. So for me, it&rsquo;s not insecurity. Kung yun ang feeling mo na maging mas maganda ka, magiging mas may kumpiyansa ka sa sarili mo, why not? You can manage yourself kung saan ka happy, yun ang gawin mo. You shouldn&rsquo;t care what other people will say to you. Ang importante, kung saan ka maganda na tingin mo. Dun ka sa susundin mo kung saan feeling mo na maganda ka,&rdquo; she shared.
