Drag Race Philippines Season 2 Queens are ready to go

"The queens of Season 2 are ready for the party of a lifetime,” declared Paolo Ballesteros, more lovingly referred to as the show’s host Mama Pao, in the teaser for the second season of Drag Race Philippines which was released last July 11, 2023. 

“Amana mga accla, activate!"



The first season was a hit, and Precious Paula Nicole from the Divine Divas was crowned as the Philippines' first drag superstar.

For the second season, RuPaul's Drag Race veteran Jiggly Caliente, trans host-actress KaladKaren, and host Mama Pao will reprise their roles as permanent judges.

"Mabuheyyy b*itches! Get ready to sizzle because 'Drag Race Philippines' is back and is hotter than ever!” announced Mama Pao in the teaser released last July 11, 2023.

The teaser introduced the 12 new queens who will be part of the show’s second season, all dressed up in accordance to the summer theme. 



Have a glimpse at this season’s line up:

Arizona Brandy is the drag mother of the Rapture Royalties who frequents Cubao's Rapture. She is also a self-proclaimed Adele impersonator.



Astrid Mercury is a call center agent who performs at at Nectar, Club Level, and Chelu with a background in cheerleading and stunts. She is also the drag daughter of Season 1 finalist Xilhouette. 



Bernie, a transwoman, is one of the country's experienced drag queens with 16 years under belt and is a regular at O-Bar.



Captivating KatKat is a multi-awarded drag queen who went viral for her rendition of "Let It Go" from Frozen and performs at Manila's One 690 Entertainment Bar. She is also one of the show’s first three transwomen. 



DeeDee Marié Holliday is a world-renowned queen who advocates for AIDS awareness and LGBTQIA+ rights with more than a decade of experience. She is also the drag mother of Season 1 queen, Brigiding.



Hana Beshie is the first contestant from Cagayan de Oro. She is an architect from the Haus of LaFeya and the queer-events managing team G-Spot. 



M1ss Jade So is a fashion design student and a "fierce advocate of doll domination”. She is also transwoman and a drag relative of Season 1 queens Eva Le Queen, Marina Summers, and Prince.



Matilduh is a multimedia drag queen from Ilocos. She also works as an events designer and florist.



Nicole Pardaux is one of two Cebuana queens in the show. She just entered the drag scene during the COVID-19 pandemic.



ØV C--T is the Cavite-born "Enigmatic Provocateur" who formed Drag Playhouse PH with Season 1 queens Eva Le Queen, Marina Summers, and Prince.



Tiny Deluxe is the first contestant from Marinduque. She is also the drag daughter of Season 1 queen Viñas Deluxe.



Veruschka Levels hails from Cebu. She is a photographer and makeup artist from Hong Kong who has worked with Rita Ora and Gretchen Barretto.



August 2, 2023 is the date to mark for the premiere of Drag Race Philippines, Season 2 and its companion show, Untucked. Catch it on HBO Go and Wow Presents Plus.
