Young JV is about to be a father!

The singer-actor, born Eduardo JV Kapunan, is currently expecting his first child with his non-showbiz girlfriend Shaine Rizelle Macela.

The soon-to-be parents recently had a baby shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their baby boy, whom they named Caleb.

Young JV and Nice Print Photography shared photos from the baby shower held at Sitio Elena Events Venue in Cainta, Rizal.

“Our very first baby shower,” he wrote in his post.

It was back in May when Young JV, 32, announced that he and his girlfriend are expecting a baby together.

Young JV is part of ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Star Magic.

He is best known for his hits “Close To Me,” “Tanong,” “Your Name,” “Malandi Ka,” and “Come Thru.” Recently, he appeared in the hit primetime series Mars Ravelo’s Darna as Andre. His other acting credits include Since I Found You, Bagani, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, and La Luna Sangre, to name a few.

Prior to his current relationship, Young JV dated former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Miho Nishida. The pair split up in late 2018 after several years of being together.

In an interview with PEP after their breakup, Young JV said that he’d rather date someone who isn’t part of the entertainment industry.

“Hindi naman sa ayaw, but gusto ko lang siguro ito, alam mo yun, maiba lang yung mundo ko sa kanyang mundo para less stress,” he said. Being private kasi, less stress."
