Janella Salvador checked off another goal on her bucket list as she finally fulfilled her dream of sharing a duet with legendary singer Regine Velasquez.

The two shared the ASAP stage for the first time on Sunday (May 7) to perform a heartfelt duet of Adele’s hits Hello and All I Ask.

In an Instagram post, Janella described her experience singing with the “Asia’s Songbird” as a dream come true.

“‘Janella. Janella! Ikaw na kumanta ng verse ko.’ …was what she said because she wanted me to have more singing parts. Best believe I was nervous as this happened on the spot (which is why I kind of messed up the words) but I just wanted to immortalize this experience and show you what a true queen @reginevalcasid is,” she wrote.

“And now I can finally cross out… ✔️ a duet with Asia’s Songbird.”

“SOOO GOOOOOD,” Janella’s Be Careful With My Heart co-star and fellow singer Marlo Mortel said in the comments.

“MomshieReg you’re the best. Queen of all icons,” wrote Regine’s Magandang Buhay co-host Melai Cantiveros.

In addition to being a sought-after actress, Janella is a gifted singer. The daughter of stage actress Jenine Desiderio and rock artist Juan Miguel Salvador, the 25-year-old star has showcased her musical chops with hits like “Mahal Kita Pero,” “Nung Tayo Pa,” and “Blanko.”

After starring in Mars Ravelo’s Darna as the iconic Valentina, Janella hinted at her possible return to music as she teased that she might be staging a solo concert this year.

“Last year was my 10th year. I might have a concert this year,” she said while celebrating her 25th birthday on the ASAP Natin ‘To last March.

While she plans to focus on her concert, the actress said she is open to doing another acting project after the success of DarnaThe show — which starred Jane de Leon as the Filipina superheroine — ended in February after a successful five-month run.
