Bruno Mars is set to return to Manila for a show at the world’s largest indoor arena on June 24, concert promoter Live Nation Philippines made the announcement on Thursday, April 20.

“Hooligans! Guess who's back again? Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to dance and sing along with Bruno Mars on June 24 at the Philippine Arena!” Live Nation Philippines wrote in a post.

Presale stars on April 27 from 10 am to 11:59 pm while general sale will start April 28 at 12 pm

Some of Bruno’s hits include “Just the Way You Are,” "Uptown Funk,” and "24K Magic.”

Born Peter Gene Hernandez, Bruno Mars is of half Filipino descent. He is born in Hawaii to a Filipina mother and a Puerto Rican father.

Throughout his career, Bruno Mars has received numerous awards and recognitions including 15 Grammy Awards, four Brit Awards, four Guinness World Records, 11 American Music Awards, and 14 Soul Train Music Awards.

Bruno Mars is only one of the many Filipino artists making a name for themselves in the Hollywood industry.

Among them are H.E.R., Olivia Rodrigo, apl.de.ap, and many more.

In 2013, Bruno gave $100,000 to a hurricane relief fund during one of his stops in Manila. He declared his Filipino roots at that time, saying: “I’m so proud and so happy to be Filipino.”

Bruno Mars last came to Manila in 2018 when he brought his 24K Magic Tour to the country for a two-day show at the Mall of Asia Arena.
