It was a double celebration for Jessy Mendiola and her family as she and her daughter Isabella Rose, or simply Rosie, marked their birthdays together.

The actress, who turned 31 last December 3, took to Instagram to share photos from their joint birthday celebration held last weekend at Brittany Palazzo in Las Piñas City.

Rosie will turn 1 year old this coming December 28. Here’s a look at the party:

Meanwhile, Luis shared his sweet message for Jessy as she turned another year older on Sunday.

“Happy happy birthday to the best howhow and mama. It may be your birthday but you are the gift to Peanut and I for making us feel loved every day,” the television host wrote. 

“@isabellarosemanzano and I love you, Mama! Happy birthday!” he added. 

Aside from hosting a party, Jessy also marked her birthday with photos and clips from her sexy pictorial with celebrity photographer Andrea Beldua.

Rosie is the first child of Jessy and Luis, who have been married since 2021. 

The pair will mark their third wedding anniversary this coming February. They tied the knot in The Farm At San Benito Lipa, Batangas on February 21, 2021, after four years of dating.

Previously, Jessy said she and Luis had been trying to conceive for months prior to Rosie’s arrival. Notably, the couple had been forthright about their wish to start a family even before they got engaged and got married.

“We’ve been trying for months. Every time na siyempre hindi kami papalarin, malulungkot kami. So, dumating sa point na hindi na ako nagtetest o umaasa o pag magkakaroon ako, naiiyak ako,” she said.

“So, dumating sa point na hindi na rin kami masyadong pressured. Kumbaga, nag-usap kami na ‘Let’s have fun na lang, let’s enjoy. And antayin natin kung kailan ibibigay sa atin,’” she added.
