Kapamilya actress Francine Diaz shared that she is planning to return to school next year to finish senior high school.

"Priority ko sarili ko, career ko and school ko importante din talaga sakin na maka-graduate ako," she said in an interview with ABS-CBN New.

"Bukod sa gusto ko maging successful sa entertainment industry of course gusto ko din maging successful 'yung personal life," she added. 

Francine also shared that she wants to take up business management in college.

"'Yun po talaga isa sa mga priority ko I believe dapat meron akong fallback kasi hindi ko alam 'wag naman sana pag dumating 'yung panahon na hindi na ako yung tinitingala or maingay meron akong buhay outside showbiz," she stated.

Francine shared in a previous interview with PUSH that despite the challenges of juggling work and school, education is one of her top priorities.

"Para po sa akin, mahalaga na alam mo ‘yung priorities mo sa life. Si God, self, and career. Kasama na doon ‘yung studies ko," she said.

The Dirty Linen star also expressed her gratitude to her team for helping her make time for school.

"Sobrang grateful ako kasi kahit sobrang busy ‘yung schedule ko sa work, tinutulungan ako ng team ko para makapag-aral, para makapagtapos," she remarked.

In the same interview, Francine shared that she initially wanted to pursue medicine as a college course in the future but she knew that it would be difficult given that she has a showbiz career. 

"Una talaga, gusto kong maging med student. Gusto ko po kasi talagang maging doktor. Pero siyempre ang hirap po nun kasi nga, given sa work ko, ang hirap naman nung palagi akong absent at hindi ko alam kung paano ‘yung gagawin. Hindi naman pwedeng ulitin ko ‘yung pagkakatahi. Nakakatakot naman," she explained.

After that realization, Francine shared that she decided that she want to pursue a degree in business instead.

"Pangalawang naisip ko is Business Management. Since nasa mundo naman na tayo ng showbiz, ‘yun na ‘yung pinakamalapit," she said.

Back in October 2022, Francine shared her snapshots as she returned to school for face-to-face classes at Southville International School.

"First face to face class this year! Felt like a first timer😂 It was so nice to finally meet my classmates in person," she posted back in October of last year.
