Fil-Canadian artist Jordan Fall treats fans with latest single ‘TRUSS’

Filipino-Canadian artist Jordan Fall is back with a brand new single “TRUSS” from his upcoming studio album.

Produced by Damian Birdseye, the track was released last October with an accompanying music video on Jordan’s YouTube channel. The song marks a “significant sonic shift” for Jordan and draws inspiration from Toronto’s iconic sound, as popularized by Canadian rapper Drake and R&B singer The Weeknd.

“Jordan’s unique twist adds a fresh perspective to the city’s musical landscape,” a press release for the song read.

“As listeners embark on this sonic journey, ‘TRUSS’ serves as a tantalizing preview of Jordan’s forthcoming project, scheduled for release next year.”

The official music video is directed by The 97, who has worked with international artists like Chris Brown and NAV. In “TRUSS,” Jordan sang about “a flaming romantic connection entangled with trust issues and insecurity.”

“TRUSS” is a follow-up to Jordan’s last single “Connections,” released in July, and “Essential,” released in September 2022. It is the first single from Jordan’s forthcoming project, “a glimpse into the exciting future of his musical evolution,” which promises an innovative blend of new sounds that reflect his diverse musical influences.

Jordan is reportedly working with Iranian-Filipino Kevan Yadzani on his upcoming EP. Yadzani has worked with other artists like Justin Bieber, H.E.R., Brandy, and Sean Leon. He will serve as the creative director of Jordan’s new EP, according to Manila Bulletin.

“TRUSS” is now available on various digital music streaming platforms, including Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music. Currently, the music video already has over 58,000 views on YouTube.
