"It was both a healing and relaxing time for me."

These were the words of Korean actor Park Hyung-sik as he described his experience visiting the Philippines over a decade ago.

The Korean star is set to return to the Philippines in February 2024 for a fan meeting in the country.

In an interview for his upcoming fan conference, Hyung-sik took a trip memory lane and recalled the time he was in the country.

"I remember the nice weather and the natural beauty of the country. The people were warm and friendly. The food was delicious. I remember there was so much to do in the country," he said. 

If given the opportunity, the actor remarked that he hopes to visit Boracay and Palawan when he visits the country again.

Hyung-sik is set to stage the "SIKcret Time" fan meeting at the Big Dome on February 17, 2024.

He remarked: "I know my Filipino fans have been waiting for such a long time. Please wait for me. My wish is to be with all of you. I promise it will be worth it. 'SIKcret Time' will be most memorable for us," he said.

It was on November 6 when organizer MQLIVE announced that Hyung-sik will be headlining a fan meeting at the Big Dome next year. 

"I am looking forward to meeting my Filipino fans. I cannot wait to see them again. I am happy to be getting this chance through this Asian Tour. I will make sure to give a memorable SIKcret experience for Philippine fans to remember," he said in a press statement upon the fan meeting announcement.

The Korean star made his acting debut in the SBS special drama I Remember You in 2012.

In 2017, he played his first leading role in the hit K-Drama Strong Girl Bong-soon which catapulted him to international fame.

Other series of Hyung-sik include The Heirs, High Society, Suits, Happiness, and Our Blooming Youth, among others.
