Idol Philippines season 2 grand winner Khimo Gumatay is still in disbelief that he emerged as the winner of the reality singing competition.

Following his big win, Khimo highlighted that it's very fulfilling to see his family very happy.

"Sobrang saya po nila. At the same time 'yung magulang ko po na nandoon at that time, parang sinasayaw ko po ang mama ko. Kasi first time ko lang siya nakitang tumalon, kasi sobrang tuwa nga po. At the same time sobrang fulfilling po na experience. At first time po na nangyayari sa akin. Sobrang nagpapasalamat ako," he stated.

Khimo pointed out that the challenges he encountered in life became his fuel to do his best in the competition.

When asked who among his fellow contenders in the top three he thought would be the toughest to beat, he said that it was Kice. He said that he also thought Kice would win.
