Gretchen Ho took to social media to pen a message for her returning driver.

In an Instagram post, Gretchen took a trip down memory lane and shared the many moments she shared with Sandy Ganacial, as she happily welcomed him back as her driver.

"Ito talaga ang pinaka namiss ko sa lahat! Si Sandy Ganancial yung driver na kasama ko araw-araw sa biyahe papunta sa mga location namin sa UKG (Umagang Kay Ganda). Mapa-7 hour drive man papuntang Quezon o 15 minutes papuntang Maginhawa, he always made sure I got to work on time," she shared.

The television host shared how Sandy fought for the role of being her driver.

"Will never forget how he fought to be my sole driver back then so he could make sure that I was safe on the road, instead of having a different driver everyday. Siyempre, itago nalang din natin yung tunay na dahilan na maraming pagkain kapag nasa remote ako bilang #TikimPrincess ng show," she quipped.

She also shared that it is Sandy who made sure that she was able to juggle multiple works in the past.

"Si Sandy rin yung isa sa mga dahilan kaya kinaya kong rumaket pa sa gabi 🙈 Kapag late kasi ako nagigising coming from hosting events the past night, tatawag yan sa amin para gisingin ako, tapos magkukumahog sa daan para lang umabot kami sa unang salang. Binilhan pa nga ako ng kutson para makatulog ako nang mabuti sa dala niyang Grandia. Sumasakit na kasi yung likod ko nun," she said.

Gretchen also shared how Sandy witnessed the many triumphs and heartbreaks that she experienced in the past.

"Dami namin pinagsamahan nito. Bawat heartbreak, problema, tagumpay, at big break!" she stated.

She then highlighted how hardworking and diligent Sandy is, sharing how he had to work as a delivery rider when the pandemic and the ABS-CBN shutdown happened so he could send his children to school.

"Come pandemic and the ABS-CBN shutdown though, because many shows were halted, Sandy had to juggle being a rider of both Lalamove and Angkas to be able to augment the income he lost from less shows and shifts. He still has a kid in college, and another one in Grade 7," she said.

She continued: "Natatandaan ko dati, nabanggit ko lang sa isa sa mga biyahe namin, bilang hustlers kami.. 'Sandy pag yumaman na ako, ikaw magmamando ng Farm ko ah.'"

Though the farm is not yet a reality, Gretchen said she is happy to welcome Sandy back as she juggles work in various shows.

"Ayun.. wala pa rin naman tayo dun, pero dito muna tayo sa show ko 😂 One step at a time. Welcome back 🤗 Papayat na tayo!" she said.

Gretchen's fans and followers were quick to react to her post, commending Sandy's kindness and diligence.

"Ang sipag ni kuya,. Ang swerte mo idol. Stay safe always," one netizen said.
