After finishing her duties as a guest judge in Vietnam’s local Miss Universe pageant last month, Catriona Gray flew to Singapore for a reunion trip with her parents—Australian national Ian Gray and her Filipina mom Normita Magnayon originally from Oas, Albay. The vacation was also part of the birthday trip of her mom Mita.
After finishing her duties as a guest judge in Vietnam’s local Miss Universe pageant last month, Catriona Gray flew to Singapore for a reunion trip with her parents—Australian national Ian Gray and her Filipina mom Normita Magnayon originally from Oas, Albay. In one of their stops in the city, Catriona took her parents to see her wax figure at Madame Tussauds wax museum which featured her wearing the iconic lava gown which she wore during the evening gown competition in the 2018 Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok, Thailand where she took home the crown. The gown was inspired by Albay province’s Mayon Volcano and was made by Pinoy designer Mak Tumang.

She wrote, “To my forever young mama bear , happy happy birthday. I'm so grateful I get to spend this year’s birthday with you in person, after years of only birthday cards and flowers to bridge the distance. This year, we celebrated surrounded by flowers, eating good food, laughing and exploring. Hopefully, a testament of our years ahead together. Love you to the moon and back mama!”

Last month before going to Vietnam, Catriona also spent some quality time with boyfriend Sam Milby as they went on a camping trip along with their pet dogs Theo and Bailey in Calamba, Laguna.
