KC Concepcion is celebrating a milestone just in time for her 37th birthday this Thursday, April 7.

On Instagram, the actress and jewelry designer announced that she is returning to acting after several years of taking a break to focus on her business.

"Because it’s April 7th in the Philippines!!! Being back on set for my birthday, doing what I’ve always loved, is a celebration in itself… Please, do what makes you happy — what makes you feel alive!!!" she said.

"Coming back to acting + living in New York for work is another dream come true. Keep dreaming new dreams loves. HBD TO ALL APRIL BABIES OUT THERE!!! [Mahal] ko kayo! Love, KC."

She did not, however, share any details about her new project, whether it is a film, series, or an advertisement, or if it's an international production or local.

KC's last acting project was the 2013 action film Boy Golden: The Arturo Porcuna Story.

In an interview in 2018, the actress said that while she misses acting, she is willing to wait for the "right project" to come before she makes her much-anticipated return to acting.

"At the end of the day, there are so many productions. There are so many shows out there. I don't take anything for granted, but I think I've really started to change as a person. I've grown up as a woman and there are just things that I feel I've done already before," said KC.

At the time, KC said that if she were to act again, she would like to play a role that she has never done before.

"I can't be doing the same kind of role over and over. We'll see. It's also not just the project. It's also about the scene and how people get so involved about everything. I love that, but maybe there's a right time and a right project for it," she said.
