Dagul opened up about his life now that he is no longer active in show business.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz for his latest YouTube vlog, Dagul shared that he is now working at their local barangay hall after the comedy program Goin’ Bulilit concluded.

The comedian admitted that it has been financially challenging ever since his work in the entertainment industry ended.

Dagul now works as the head of the command center in their barangay.

Dagul also opened up about the physical challenges that he has been experiencing recently. He shared that he can no longer walk well.

"Kapag tumayo ako hindi ako tumatagal, hindi ako makakalakad, nakaupo lang," he said.

He shared that his son carries him to his office during working days.

On weekends, Dagul shared that he is in charge of looking after their sari-sari store.

During the interview, Dagul could not help but be emotional as he opened up about the challenges of the limitations brought by the condition of his legs.

Iniisip ko nga eh ba't ganun, ano ang nangyari?" he said.

The comedian shared that he uses a wheelchair now.

Dagul also got teary-eyed when talking about how he could not financially provide well anymore for his family unlike before.

He said that most of his savings were used for the construction of their home.

Dagul rose to fame with his comedic roles on various television shows including Goin’ Bulilit where he was a regular cast member from 2005 to 2019. He also starred in Ok Fine Whatever, Yes Yes Show, and Masayang Tanghali Bayan, among others.
