Francine Diaz had a fan meeting with her supporters recently. The Kapamilya star's different fan groups came together for the said event.

In an interview with Star Magic Inside News, Francine remarked that she was very happy to spend time with her fans in person after a few years in lockdown.

"Siyempre sobrang saya po parang three to four years na nung nagkaroon ako ng fan meet. Sobrang saya ko today na nagkaroon ako ng time na sabihin sa kanila ng harap-harapan kung gaano ako ka-thankful  na meron akong katulad nila, she said.

Francine's fans surprised her with dance numbers and spoken word poetry during the event. The Kapamilya star said that those were her favorite parts of the fan meet.

"'Yung mga spoken poetry nila at 'yung mga sayaw-sayaw nila, iyon 'yung pinaka na -enjoy ko sa lahat," the actress said.

In her message for her supporters, Francine expressed her gratitude and hopes that she could also meet her other fans in person in the future.

"Of course sa mga team bahay parte pa rin kayo ng fan meet na ito at sana makita ko kayo ng personal at siyempre sa lahat ng pumunta ngayon, maraming,  maraming salamat. Mahal na mahal ko kayo at sana hanggang sa forever magkakasama tayo," she said.

Various fans recorded a video message for Francine at the fan meeting. 

"Sobrang thankful po kami kasi minsan lang po mangyari sa isang taon. Di po namin siya laging nakakasama kaya pag may ganitong event po ini-enjoy po talaga namin na fans niya. Hi Francine, good luck lagi sa career mo," Christian, Francine's fan from the fandom Carrels Official, said.

"Hi Chin dito lang kami mga FranSeth fans mo rooting kami sa success mo and career mo," a fan named Jasmine said.

Francine had her acting debut in 2014 in an episode of Ipaglaban Mo of ABS-CBN.

She became a household name when she played the role of Cassie Mondragon in ABS-CBN's Kadenang Ginto.

Other acting projects of Francine include Huwag Kang Mangamba; Click, Like, Share; and Bola Bola.
