Actress Melissa Ricks and her husband Michael Macatangay are expecting a baby girl.

The two made the exciting announcement at a gender reveal party held over the weekend, as seen in a clip posted by Melissa via Instagram Stories.

Melissa’s closest friends in showbiz were in attendance, including Ara Mina, Empress Schuck, Gretchen Fullido, Dianne Medina, Say Alonzo, and RR Enriquez.

It was in late August when Melissa, 32, announced that she and Michael are expecting their first child together.

The “Nasaan Ka Elisa” star took to Instagram to share her visit to the OBGYN clinic where she had an ultrasound, captioned with the Bible verse: “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”

Melissa tied the knot with her husband in California last May, amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The two got engaged in August 2020 after dating for more than two years. The romantic proposal took place in Batangas where they first met, and was witnessed by the couple's family and close friends.

Melissa already has a daughter, 7-year-old Kiera, whom she shares with her former partner Charles Togezaki.
