With Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Kumunity Season 10 now currently accepting online applications for adult housemates, Robi Domingo said he never expected a new season to start so soon after PBB Connect ended last March.

“Right after the PBB Connect Big Night, binubuyo na namin si lolo (PBB head director Lauren Dyogi) ng, ‘Season ten! Season ten!’ and just like the theme of PBB, yung pangarap puwede magkatotoo. So saktong sakto after a few nights of the big night, eto na. We’re going to have auditions for the tenth season of PBB,” he shared during the Dream TWOgether media conference.

More than a decade after his own stint as a teen housemate in PBB where he emerged first runner-up in his batch, Robi shared his most unforgettable moment on stage that he shared with his parents.

“My most unforgettable moment siguro not as a host but as a housemate because as a teen yun naman talaga yung hinahanap mo yung parents approval mo eh so I came out from the Big Brother spaceship back in 2008. That was the Big Night and then sinabi na Second Big Placer Robi and umakyat yung parents ko and then si papa niyakap ako and then he said, ‘Anak, job well done.’ So even if I didn’t get the title, I felt that I was the Big Winner,” he recalled.

As one of PBB’s hosts, Robi named the top two ex-housemates that are his favorite people from the show whom he loves talking to until now.

“A lot of them definitely. I can think of two names right now and it would have to be some of my favorite Big Winners, Melai (Cantiveros) and Maymay (Entrata). Because they have that kind of personality na punong puno ng charm and I think they can talk to anyone especially if you’re having a bad day. Instantly without doing anything they can make you smile,” he said.

Aside from his hosting, Robi has also been busy with campaigning for his advocacy to encourage more Filipino youth to register as voters this month.

“Most recently I was really happy because we got the full support of direk Lauren and Star Magic as we partnered up with Bayan Mo I-Patrol Mo so yun yung malaking advocacy ngayon na ginagawa ng Star Magic at ng iba’t ibang mga management in ABS-CBN to have everyone registered pagdating sa botohan. We got a few days left but right after MECQ I’m sure we had that voter’s registration campaign together with COMELEC and napakaganda,” he said.

To audition, hopefuls (20 to 40 years old) just need to download the Kumu app, create an account, and upload a 1-minute Kumu clip where he or she will introduce oneself and say why he or she is deserving to become a housemate, and use the hashtag “PBBKumuAdults.”
