Last August 25, Sharon Cuneta revealed on social media followers just how heartbroken she was that her second daughter Frankie Pangilinan was leaving the country to pursue a college degree in New York City after almost a year and a half of staying in the Philippines due to the ongoing pandemic.

Last August 26, shared another update on the daughter she lovingly calls “Kakie” who had already arrived in the US. Sharon posted a short video clip given to her by her youngest daughter Miel to accompany the post. The 55-year-old Kapamilya actress revealed that she was happy and comforted that Kakie would be moving into an apartment along with a close family friend while living in New York.

I saw it last night and was crying so much…Kakie has just arrived in New York and is on her way to an apartment that an amazing new friend, Dr. Noel Fajardo whom I still do not know how to thank, allowed her and one of my lifelong best friends, Lorraine’s son Paolo, to stay at! Paolo already graduated from Berkeley a few years ago and wants to try living in NY so he and Kakie are going to share an apartment. I couldn’t be happier! They’ve known each other all their lives and Paolo (as you know if you’ve seen him in my YouTube vlogs) is like a son to me, my Godson too! Am sure they are going to have so much fun together! I love them both so much. Thank you for praying for my Kakie’s safety. She’s now back there and ready for school. This post, is both heartwarming and heartbreaking for me…OMG I love my girls so much… ”
