After deciding to relocate to the U.S earlier this year, former Star Magic artist Carla Humphries debuts in her first acting project abroad this month. The 33-year-old actress was first announced to play the lead role in a new action sci-fi short film last November which was directed by Febien Garcia.

According to the film’s official Instagram account, The Hunt is a story about a park ranger named Sarah (played by Carla Humphries) who must face her fears as she becomes embroiled in a fight against an otherworldly threat. The film started shooting last December in Redwood forest in California. Last August 13, Carla attended their film screening in Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, California.

On her Instagram post last August 18, the The Hunt star wrote,
