Singer Ice Seguerra is celebrating his 34 years in show business with another milestone —his directorial debut.

The "Pagdating Ng Panahon" hitmaker shared the exciting news on Instagram on Saturday, July 3, as he posted a photo from the set of his newest project.

"As I celebrate my 34th year in the industry, I am doing something na masasabi ko na hindi ko pinangarap at inakala na magpapasaya sa akin ng sobra... Directing," he began.

"Nagsimulang beauty queen, artista sa telebisyon, pelikula, at teatro. Naging singer, gitarista, songwriter, song producer, at album producer. Finally, after many years, I've found something that gives me so much fulfillment and happiness where I can apply all the things I have learned through the years of being in the industry," he continued.

"I am celebrating my anniversary on the set, behind the scenes, in the director's chair. And this is exactly where I want to be," he added.

Ice, 37, started his showbiz career as a contestant of Eat Bulaga!'s "Little Miss Philippines". He subsequently became part of the noontime show from 1987 to 1997.

During his late teens, Ice began pursuing a career in music. Since then, he has produced a number of successful albums, including Pagdating ng Panahon, Pinakamamahal, Sabi Ng Kanta, and Perhaps Love, and hit singles, such as "Pakisabi Na Lang", "Para Lang Sa 'Yo", and "Anong Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa".

As an actor, Ice starred in the fourth and sixth installment of the popular horror movie series Shake, Rattle, and Roll. He was also a recurring character in the fantasy-comedy film series Enteng Kabisote starring Vic Sotto.

On television, Ice played the role of Jodi Sta. Maria's sister in the daytime drama Be Careful With My Heart. He was also seen in the primetime series Ysabella, and in previous episodes of the drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya.

As of this writing, Ice has yet to announce details of his directorial debut, including its story, and release date and platform.
