On her Instagram page on Friday, June 11, Vickie spoke up about her withdrawal from the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 pageant reportedly due to age qualifications in the different international pageants under the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc.

"As much as I don’t want to, I need to close this chapter in my life," she said.
