Recalling such a time, Regine narrated, "Parang inisa ko na lang. Parang sabay sabay kong na-feel 'yung sadness because siyempre when you had your post-partum depression, you're like extra sensitive. You feel very emotional. And do I felt that the moment I gave birth because of the fact na I had pneumonia, my baby had pneumonia. She had a high fever, she was confined in the NICU for 10 days so parang iniyak ko siya, dire-diretso for 10 straight days because I couldn't see my baby the first three days.

"Nahirapan akong mag-breastfeed ulit. 'Yun, kasabay ng anxiety sa hospital, the doctors, all the protocols were new for everybody including us. Kaya 'yun, parang isang iyak na tuloy tuloy lang for 10 days. Then after that, parang na-overcome ko naman because I have the family's support and we started doing the novena every night... Nakayanan naman, thank God," she said.

Fortunately for Regine, her family remained her source of support. Her older daughters with ex-husband Lander Vera-Perez—Reigne and Reigen—are just as ecstatic with taking care of Rosie that Regine said, "They're like my second and third mommies here in the house."

She was also all praises for her partner, Dondi Narciso, who is also close to Reigne and Reigen. "You know, years ago, when they first met, talagang they had this connection with him. He was their father figure for the longest time and Dondi has been so supportive in their school, sa work, and being an all-around good friend to them so talagang sobrang mahal na mahal din nila si Dondi. They even love him more now that they see that he's such a great dad to Rosie as well. So everything's wonderful. We're so blessed to have him," Regine shared.
