It was in September when Kathryn and Daniel announced that they were reuniting on television via 2G2BT, which marks their first teleserye in four years after 2017's La Luna Sangre.

According to Kathryn, the series is part of their 10th anniversary celebration as the popular love team "KathNiel." It also falls under the romance-comedy genre.

"Gusto talaga naming gumawa ng parang romcom. Kasi 'yung last serye namin was La Luna Sangre and 'yun medyo fantasy-action siya. So sabi namin, siguro 'yung mga fans lalo, 'yung hinihiling nila is to see us parang gumagawa ng light na feel," said Kathryn.
"Gusto talaga naming gumawa ng parang romcom. Kasi 'yung last serye namin was La Luna Sangre and 'yun medyo fantasy-action siya. So sabi namin, siguro 'yung mga fans lalo, 'yung hinihiling nila is to see us parang gumagawa ng light na feel," said Kathryn.
"But of course andyan pa rin 'yung dapat may matututunan ka, nandyan pa rin 'yung core ng mga characters. But something light, just to give them a break and breather ba sa lahat ng nangyayari ngayon."
