Aside from successfully keeping her pregnancy a secret from the public, another thing that amazed the fans of Elisse Joson was how quickly she was able to bounce back into shape after giving birth to her daughter Felize McKenzie.

In Star Magic's Inside News on Wednesday, November 17, the Kapamilya actress shared how she managed to get back her old figure following her pregnancy which saw her gain weight.

"During my pregnancy, lumobo rin po talaga ako. Though kasi petite girl ako talaga, hindi naman ako 'yung lalaki nang sobra sobra. But I really gained weight," she said.

"Nung pagkapanganak ko, doon ako nag-diet talaga. I went on a very slight keto diet. It worked well for me and then 'yung exercise, tyinaga ko po talaga na araw-araw kailangan mapawisan ako. Kailangan tumatakbo ako, matagtag 'yung katawan ko," she added.

Elisse, 25, surprised fans last month when she and her partner, actor McCoy de Leon, revealed that they were now parents to a baby girl.

The reel-to-real couple made the announcement in an episode of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10, in which they asked Big Brother to be the godfather of their baby girl.

Elisse and McCoy met during their stint as housemates in the reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7 in 2016. Their pairing, dubbed "McLisse," spawned a following for their sweet on-cam moments.

They eventually became an official couple, but broke hearts in 2018 when they confirmed that they had broken up. However, after a year apart, McCoy confirmed that he and Elisse had gotten back together in an interview last June.

Meanwhile, Elisse shared in the same interview how she plans to move forward with her showbiz career now that she is a mother.

"Sabi nila mahirap mag-balance ng work and being a mom. But 'yun nga, sabi ko po, right now I'm enjoying my time with Felize, with my family. And sa early stage niya ngayon, gusto ko present ako. Gusto kong maramdaman niya na meron siyang mom, lalo na ngayon pa lang siya nagkakaisip. Also, gusto ko ring matutunan na i-balance, na kaya ko pa ring magtrabaho even if I am being a full-time mom," she said.

Elisse recently starred in the family drama Will You Marry?, alongside comedienne K Brosas as her mother.

The movie was filmed in Denmark in December last year, and was released last October. Prior to this, Elisse was seen in the iFlix series Beauty and the Boss, together with her fellow PBB graduate Gino Roque.
