From being an “Amboy” cutie to one of the most bankable leading men of his generation, Gerald Anderson continues to share his charm and talent in the entertainment industry for over 15 years now.

Gerald Anderson was known for his boy-next-door personality when he joined and eventually won as the 3rd Big Placer in the reality show Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 1 back in 2006.

After his PBB stint, Gerald and her on-screen love team Kim Chiu were given their first Maalaala Mo Kaya episode titled "Bus."

The Kapamilya heartthrob went on to star in different Your Song episodes from 2006 to 2010.

His career began to bloom when he started receiving several roles for films and TV shows.

Gerald made his big screen debut via the 2006 film First Day High, alongside Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador.

The year after, Gerald was given the lead role of Bokbok in the TV series Sana Maulit Muli, together with Kim Chiu as Poknat.

In the same year, Gerald alongside Kim starred in their first solo film I've Fallen For You.

In 2008, he played the role of Julian Abueva in the romantic comedy series My Girl, which was based on a South Korean drama.

One of his notable roles was when he played JR, a military member in the 2009 action drama Tayong Dalawa, where he acted alongside Jake Cuenca.

In 2010, Gerald top billed not only one but two films, namely Paano Na Kaya and Till My Heartaches End, both produced and released by Star Cinema.

Aside from the two films, he was also able to star in the primetime series Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo, which starred veteran actors Kris Aquino and Albert Martinez, among others.

He gained more popularity and received praises when he portrayed the iconic title role Budoy from 2011 to 2012, which followed the story of a mentally challenged person.

Gerald continued to star in different films, which include Catch Me I'm In Love and Won't Last A Day Without You, both with Sarah Geronimo in 2011.

The year after, he was once again partnered with Kim Chiu for the movie 24/7 In Love.

He was also given the role of Miguel Dizon in the TV series Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin back in 2013.

The same year also gave Gerald one of his notable roles through the action-thriller film On The Job, which was shown at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

He continued to be at the top of his acting career and was given more TV roles which include Dyesebel in 2014, Nathaniel in 2015, and Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin from 2017 to 2018.

He once again struck the hearts of many in 2016 when he showed his charming personality in the romantic comedy films Always Be My Maybe with Arci Muñoz, and How To Be Yours with Bea Alonzo.

He went on to star in two more movies, namely the 2018 film My Perfect You with Pia Wurtzbach; and Between Maybes in 2019 with actress Julia Barretto.

Gerald then made his comeback on television through the 2020 series A Soldier's Heart, playing the role of a soldier named Alex Marasigan.

Meanwhile, his recent TV series Init sa Magdamag where he played the lead role of Dr. Tupe, just concluded in September 2021.

By October, Star Creatives announced that Gerald and Gigi de Lana will have a new international series titled Hello, Heart.

Hello, Heart is a partnership of ABS-CBN with online streaming platform iQiyi, and will premiere exclusively on the platform to attract international audiences.
