Jacobo Antonio Lagdameo, the son of actress Dawn Zulueta and her husband Antonio Lagdameo Jr., turned 16 on Tuesday, October 19.

To mark the occasion, Dawn took to social media to share her birthday message for her son.

Sharing a throwback photo of them together on Instagram, the actress wrote: "I used to carry him like this but it’s the other way around now.

“He’s too shy, he won’t let me show a current photo of him. So, I’m posting this to remind our son… that whether you have become a teenager or grow to be an old man, you will for ever be our little bundle of joy.

“Thank you for bringing a smile to our face every day,” she then said. “Happy 16th birthday, Jacobo; and may God’s mercy & grace be always upon you! I love you to the moon and back.”

She tagged Jacobo in her post, before adding the hashtags #iloveyoujacobo and #19october.

In the comments section of her post, Jacobo shared his reaction.

“Thank you mama! Love you!”

Jacobo is the eldest child of Dawn and her husband. The couple also has a daughter named Ayisha Madlen, who turned 12 last June.

Marking her daughter’s special day on Instagram, Dawn wrote: “We wish you a birthday that is as beautiful, incredible, and unique as you are. Happy 12th birthday, dearest Ayisha. I love you so much.”

Dawn and Antonio, a former Davao del Norte Representative and a scion of a wealthy Mindanao family, have been married for 23 years.

They first met when they were teenagers. However, it was only during Anton’s birthday celebration in January 1996 when they had a chance to hook up.

Sometime after, the two became a couple, and eventually got married at the University Club in New York in 1997.
