Xian Lim took to social media to give his followers an update about his grandmother's condition a week after he revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

On Instagram on Monday, August 30, the Love Thy Woman star shared a photo showing his grandma in confinement after she recently underwent mastectomy to remove one of her breasts.

Thank you to everyone that expressed their concern and included my grandmother in their prayers. ❤️🙏 She's doing a lot better now. Also, she really doesn't like staying in one spot. She likes moving around, turning up her radio in full blast and doing crossword puzzles. . I saw this earlier and it melted my heart. Your parents will take care of you until you are able to be on your own until one day, it will be your turn to return the favor. This is a simple gesture of saying thank you for bringing me in this world. This is what we are accustomed to. . @mommymaryanne in the picture is making sure lola is okay and telling her to keep still while showing her funny videos on her phone. In the caption, Xian thanked those who prayed and expressed their concern for his "lola."

"Thank you to everyone that expressed their concern and included my grandmother in their prayers. She's doing a lot better now," he said.

"Also, she really doesn't like staying in one spot. She likes moving around, turning up her radio in full blast and doing crossword puzzles," he added.

Included in the snap was Xian's mother, who, according to the actor, is the one taking care of his grandmother in the hospital as she recovers from her operation.

"I saw this earlier and it melted my heart," he said. "Your parents will take care of you until you are able to be on your own until one day, it will be your turn to return the favor. This is a simple gesture of saying thank you for bringing me in this world. This is what we are accustomed to."

It was on August 25 when Xian revealed his grandma's battle with cancer in an emotional video where he reminded his fans and followers to not take time for granted and enjoy every moment with their loved ones.

“If you have a moment of your time right now just go to your mom, your dad, your grandpa, your lola and say I love you to them. Enjoy them while they are still around,” said Xian.

“She's still around. Malakas pa naman siya,” he added, referring to his grandma. “It's just that, you know, may mga uncertainties in life and there are moments na hindi talaga natin nako-control. So, don't take time for granted. Love your parents, love your grandparents 'cause all the money in the world, all the things that you have, wala 'yang laban sa time. So, just please reach out to your family now and just give them a hug and say I love you to them.”
