Television host and weather anchor Kim Atienza shared his birthday greeting for his eldest son Jose, who turned 18 on Friday, August 28.

In an Instagram post, the "It's Showtime" host posted photos of Jose and described his son as a "blessing" to him and his wife, Felicia Hung Atienza.

Happy 18th birthday to my first born Jose You are a blessing to mama and me. You gave us so much joy when you were a cute baby when you were Papa's "property" I could carry you around anytime I wanted to! lol. Now, you are an adult and very much your own man, in time you shall probably be guiding (hopefully not carrying) papa around! How time flies! Be your best in @tufts Boston, Mama and papa will always be here for you. I miss you and your chattiness terribly but I am happy that you are steadily achieving your dreams. Kim also wished his son good luck as the latter prepares for college.

According to the "TV Patrol" anchor, Jose, a pilot, will be attending college at the Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.

"Be your best in Tufts, Boston. Mama and papa will always be here for you. I miss you and your chattiness terribly but I am happy that you are steadily achieving your dreams," he said.

"God's design for papa and mama is to bring you up well and then let you go. May His will be done but how I do miss you. Happy 18th Birthday dear son. Much love, Papa," he added.

Aside from Jose, Kim and Felicia have two other kids, Eliana and Emman.
