Former Pinoy Big Brother: Otso housemate Kaori Inuma has turned 20.
On her special day, the young star got a cute birthday surprise from her fellow housemate and love team partner, Rhys Eugenio.
In a video posted by Rise Artists Studio on YouTube Tuesday, July 21, Kaori showed the polaroid camera that Rhys gave her, despite being a thousand miles away due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Uy thank you, ha,” Kaori told Rhys. “Grabe, nag-abala ka pa. ‘Yaan mo, ililibre kita ng dirty ice cream pagbalik mo, kasi favorite mo ‘yun ‘di ba? Tsaka turon.”
To which, Rhys responded: “No problem. Happy birthday.”
In the video, the Nueva Ecija-raised, Filipino-Japanese said that she feels “happy” and “excited” now that she’s no longer a teen.
“Hindi ko alam. Parang ang bilis ng panahon. Parang gusto ko pang mag-stay ng 19, pero okay na rin ako sa 20. Masaya... Excited lang ako. Excited ako sa mangyayari,” she said.
Kaori and Rhys are part of Star Cinema’s first digital project, The Four Bad Boys and Me.
The upcoming project is the first installment of “Listen 2 Love,” which, according to the film outfit, is a “lovecast” series, or a podcast anthology that falls under the love-story genre.
The Four Bad Boys and Me is an adaptation of a Wattpad novel of the same name by author Tina Lata.
The two stars will be joined by Star Magic artist Jeremiah Lisbo. Other cast members include Karina Bautista, Aljon Mendoza, Mark Rivera, Alora Sasam, Chie Filomeno, and Jenny Jamora, with the special participation of Maymay Entrata.
The Four Bad Boys and Me will be available on Star Cinema’s YouTube and Facebook pages and on Spotify.
