Vice Ganda could not help but be emotional over the fact that It's Showtime will stop its live shows for one month amid the rising threat of COVID-19.

"Siyempre nalulungkot kasi hindi ko ma-imagine papasok ako na hindi ko sila makikita pero importante ay safe ang lahat ng ating mga Kapamilya," he said in the show on Saturday, May 14.

According to the ABS-CBN management, live shows and tapings for teleseryes are stopped "in compliance with the guidelines set by the government concerning the COVID-19 outbreak and for the safety of everyone involved."

Teleseryes like FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, Make It With You, A Soldier's Heart and Pamilya Ko will temporarily be replaced by the network's classic teleseryes and iWant original series.

"We will resume our regular programming when conditions improve and the safety and welfare of our people will not be compromised," ABS-CBN said in a statement
