The Missing follows the story of Iris (Ritz), a 28-year-old architect, who lost her younger sister to a kidnapping syndicate and developed PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and hallucinations.

As soon as they started working, Iris begins to experience hauntings in the house, particularly of angry looking yureis (ghosts). Job dismisses the incidents saying it might be her hallucinations resulting from her trauma and her stopping medication. Though she agrees, Iris still thinks there is something wrong with the house. She keeps convincing herself that she needs the job and the peace of mind.
