The hosts of morning talk show Magandang Buhay are set to star in a new film entitled Soul Sisters.

Karla Estrada confirmed the exciting news on Instagram where she shared a clip from their first shooting day last Monday, October 19.

\"Happy 1st shoot day! #SoulSisters soon!\" she wrote in the caption.

Tagged in the post were her co-hosts Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros.

It was in 2018 when Karla first expressed her interest to do a movie with Jolina and Melai in an episode of Magandang Buhay.

\"Ito, isa sa mga plano ko, pelikula nating tatlong momshies for this year,\" said Karla.

Karla was last seen on the big screen via the comedy film Familia Blondina in 2019.

For her part, Jolina was supposed to do a reunion movie with her longtime onscreen partner Marvin Agustin last year, but the project did not push through due to pre-production issues.

Meanwhile, Melai is also gearing up for a new movie with fellow Pinoy Big Brother alum Fifth Solomon and celebrity sisters Toni and Alex Gonzaga.

Recently, Magandang Buhay returned to free television via A2Z Channel 11, along with several other ABS-CBN programs.

The show airs from Monday to Friday at 10:30 a.m. before the noontime program It's Showtime.
