"You are never too old to reach for your dreams!"

These were the words of former Kapamilya singer Carol Banawa after earning her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the Grand Canyon University in the United States.

Carol earned her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing at the Northern Virginia Community College in 2018, where she graduated summa cum laude. She was already a registered nurse in America prior to pursuing her bachelor's degree.

Carol wrote a heartwarming message on social media for her friends and family for supporting her in this endeavor.

This is for you guys ❤️ Thank you for always believing in me..I hope you are all proud of me. "Thank you mahal, for working so hard for us which allowed me to pursue my studies..thank you for always pushing me, supporting me and believing in me," she told her husband.

She also penned a message for her kids saying, "Thank you to my children for always being patient with Mama, for understanding the times that I have to stay in front of the computer to finish my posts, papers and projects..I love you all so much," she said.

The former ASAP singer added, "To my Papa, Mama, Kuya and Ate, I finally did it! This is for you guys. Thank you for always believing in me..I hope you are all proud of me. I love you all so much.

"To my relatives and friends who have always supported me, cheered for me, and celebrated with me..thank you, I miss you all and I love you all!"

Carol remarked that it is never too late to achieve one's dream.
