The first trailer for Oh Mando sees Kokoy de Santos’ character falling for the role of Alex Diaz just when he finally gets to have Barbie Imperial’s character as his girlfriend. The trailer also features Daniel Padilla and Moira Dela Torre’s Himig Handog 2019 big winner track “Mabagal."

Asked why he chose the two actors to take on the two lead roles, he answered: Si Alex, nakita ko kasi sa kanya ‘yung potential na maging leading man ni Kokoy. ‘Yung willingness niyang matuto at tumanggap ng challenge na hinihingi ng kanyang karakter. Hindi ako nahirapang magdecide, kasi alam kong marunong at mahusay siyang umarte.”

He went on: “Si Kokoy naman, naging artista ko sa recent film ko na Fuccbois kaya alam ko na ang range niya as an actor. Mahusay siya, sa katunayan nominated siya sa kanyang performance sa Fuccbois sa Young Critics Circle desk. Tulad ni Alex, alam mong dedicated sila sa craft nila bilang actor. Parehong all in sila sa lahat ng mga eksena. I’m very happy na sila ang naging cast ng Oh, Mando.”
