Kisses Delavin walked the red carpet solo for this year’s ABS-CBN Ball 2019. She was radiant in her sunshine yellow asymmetrical gown by Jot Losa. Asked how she embodies a modern Filipina, she answers regally: “I can embody a modern Filipina by being proud of my roots, and at the same time, embracing the world and showing the world that I am truly a proud Filipina.”

Another fan asked what she thought was a characteristic that one must have to be a model for the youth. Kisses gave several. “One should be honest, true to her feelings. Dapat totoong tao siya. I also feel that person has to have a core ng kung anong pinaniniwalaan niya at pinaninindigan niya, at sinusunod niya ‘yun.”

Her date last year, Donny Pangilinan, went solo as well. Wearing a barong in his fave color — black — Donny said he didn’t stress much about the ball preparations. “I just trusted my designer, Avel Bacudio, my wonderful make up artist Jam and his assistant Von. Sobrang chill ako ngayon.”

He also shared about his upcoming projects, particularly his new movie with Ronnie Alonte and Loisa Andalio. “Siguro ‘yung pinaka-excited ako is ‘yung movie namin na James and Pat and Dave, and may isa pang very big project na hindi ko pa pwedeng sabihin pero abangan niyo nalang.”
