With Ryan Cayabyab receiving a Ramon Magsaysay award last September 8, the original members of his popular singing group Smokey Mountain—Jeffrey Hidalgo, Tony Lambino, and James Coronel—decided to commemorate the moment by getting together (along with Geneva Cruz via video chat) even if just through a series of photos. The popular ‘90s group was formed by Ryan Cayabyab in 1989 until the third batch of members in 1996. Only Geneva is still actively performing as a singer while Jeffrey is now a director-actor and Tony works for the Department of Finance.
