Sa ginanap na D23 Expo nitong linggo, ipinakilala ang 29-year-old star bilang boses ng bidang si Raya sa epic fantasy adventure film na may temang SouthEast Asian.

Bukod kay Cassie, tampok din ang Crazy Rich Asians actress na si Awkwafina sa naturang pelikula.

“Sharing Raya was just amazing because I feel like she’s really a breakthrough character in terms of being female and being empowered, being a warrior and being badass, and it’s just such an honor to play her,” ani Cassie sa ABS-CBN News.

Narito ang premise ng Raya and the Last Dragon: “Sa isang lupain na tinatawag na Kumandra, na nahahati sa limang magkakaibang rehiyon, isang mandirigma na nagngangalang Raya ang naghahanap para sa huling dragon sa mundo.”
