With his current film project LSS: The Movie having started shooting since last December, Khalil Ramos said he never expected to be paired with his real life girlfriend Gabbi Garcia. "The movie is something I’m really, really excited for this year. It was weird in the beginning kasi we actually never thought about working with each other. Kumbaga it wasn’t like a goal na since we’re both actors we have to have a project together. Actually sa start nga sinabi namin sa isa’t isa we don’t want to work with each other kasi yung foundation naman is not the work environment. Pero we were offered LSS and we loved the script agad," he told PUSH.

Khalil admitted that the only awkward moments on the set were during their first day working together. "We always tell everyone na kahit naman hindi kami yung magka-partner dun, we would still accept kasi it’s a story that we want to tell also. Pero once we got on the set together, sa simula it felt a bit kapa kapa pa a bit awkward kasi I never really had any experience with her in the working environment. Pero eventually we got the hang of it. We were super nervous kasi hindi namin alam kung effective ba kami onscreen. Kung may chemistry kami onscreen. So super nag-worry kami sa start. But we got a lot of good feedback which made us feel super relieved and everyone’s so excited," he said.

While shooting the film, Khalil was happy to discover something about his talented girlfriend. "I saw her work ethic of course. It was my my first time to see her work ethic as an actress kasi usually I visit naman at her endorsement shoots. I saw her dedication talaga. Aminado kasi siya na she was very nervous kasi she hasn’t acted in a movie as a lead talaga. Mostly teleserye yung mga nagagawa niya. Most of us know na iba yung acting on TV and sa film. Different techniques and different approaches. I loved her honesty when it came to accepting the project. And I saw her drive talaga na she really wanted to learn. Sinabi niya sa akin na when we work, I don’t have to treat her special. Basta if she needs help or I need help, tulungan lang kami. Very professional and lalo ko lang siyang na-admire because I saw that work ethic," he admitted.
