Actor Vin Abrenica made sure Valentine’s Day was special for his wife, Sophie Albert, and their daughters, Ava and Amara.

In a recent vlog on their family YouTube channel, Vin shared how he prepared thoughtful gifts for them.

“Marami tayong binili na bulaklak… Siyempre si Bianca (Sophie’s real name), si Amara and si Ava. It’s so beautiful. Ang ganda. And siyempre special yung kay Ava,” Vin said, showing his purchases.

He also gave flowers to their household staff, making the celebration more meaningful.

However, the day was bittersweet for Vin, as he missed his mother and sister, sharing, “Medyo mabigat lang sa pakiramdam na kulang yung binili mo kasi maraming bae sa buhay ko pero yung unang-una siyempre my mom. My Mom is far, misnan sa Pampanga or sa Batangas and siyempre yung kapatid ko si Alleah na nasa States.”

When it was time to give the gifts, Vin presented Sophie and Ava with flowers. But Ava had one request that he forgot.

“Daddy, you forgot candies and chocolates. I want candies and chocolates,” Ava reminded Vin.

Vin reassured her, saying, “Baby, I will never forget you. It’s your favorite flower, sunflower.”

However, Ava was still upset, leading Vin to admit his mistake.

"Medyo sablay tayo doon. That was so dumb of me. Na-hype ko nga pala siya na Valentine’s Day is a day of giving chocolates and candies. Ayon ang favorite niya. That was a failure," Vin stated.

To make it up to Ava, Vin planned a special bond for Ava.

Meanwhile, Vin and Sophie added a fun twist to their Valentine’s celebration as they played a shadow boxing challenge, with the loser paying for their date. Sophie won, and Vin treated his girls to a pampering day.

During their dental appointment, Vin was proud of Ava for handling her first dental visit with confidence.

“It’s her first time. Are you scared? No. That’s my Ate,” Vin said, talking with Ava.

Vin and Sophie emphasized how they allow their daughter to take her time before facing new experiences.

“Medyo nakakaproud as parents is hindi namin siya pinepwersa sa mga kailangan gawin like first time visit to the doctor, first time visit to the dentist. Sa doctor, naalala ko na sinabi rin niya na she’s ready. Dati ayaw niya. Pati sa dentist,” Vin shared.

Sophie added, “We wait until she’s ready, so we don’t traumatize, and she goes prepared and bukal sa loob niya to be here.”

While Sophie enjoyed a lash treatment, Vin and Ava spent time at an arcade. However, Ava suddenly became sad.

“Iba talaga ang power ng isang ina. After minutes of waiting, bigla na lang siya nalungkot. Nagtataka ako kung bakit because we are having so much fun. Tinanong ko and bigla niya namiss ang Mommy niya,” Vin shared. They decided to return to the salon to wait for Sophie.

As the family returned home, Sophie expressed her appreciation for Vin who made time to accompany his girls.

“Thank you for coming with us and being our driver and assistant every day. This is really such a big deal because Vin is not a husband who will wait patiently around while you shop or whatever,” Sophie revealed.

“This is a monumental day that he waited with no complaints. Thanks, love!” she expressed.

The family ended their Valentine’s Day with a cozy movie night
