Comedienne and ‘Funny One’ season 2 winner Donna Cariaga is known for her ‘hugot’ material about how a certain ‘James’ broke her heart, but she said these are all just part of the act.

During her guesting at Umagang Kay Ganda on Wednesday, December 14, Donna talked about how ‘James’ and ‘Joshua’ are real for most of her friends who have experienced heartache. She also mimicked the Bisaya accent from her friends who have it.

When asked about her secret in making people laugh, she shared she has done workshops before coming on television and that timing is crucial when it comes to comedy.

The audience also caught a glimpse of her real-life partner, Cedrick Flores, proving the real Donna is not as bitter as her TV persona.
