EXCLUSIVE: Denise Laurel says she hopes of releasing her own album

<div><img src='' alt='120315-denise_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Denise Laurel shared that <i>Your Face Sounds Familiar</i> has helped her to be brave again when it comes to performing onstage. “[I learned to] just to trust the production, the teachers, the judges and to trust in yourself and God <i>na hindi ka nila bibigyan ng</i> something <i>na</i> they don’t think you could challenge yourself or do so<i> sobrang natutuwa ako na parang </i>from being so scared <i>nandon pa rin ‘yung kaba at takot</i>. Pero slowly I’m getting to a point where I can finally stop thinking and just enjoy ‘yung katulad ako kung paano ako dati nong mas bata pa ako and that’s actually what I want to learn to go back to being brave on stage,” she stated in an interview with Push.com.ph.</div><div><br/></div><div>Denise said that her fiancé Sol Mercado is very supportive of her stint in <i>Your Face Sounds Familiar </i>and that the latter is actually a big fan of the show. “He loves watching the show. He is actually a fan of everyone.<i> Sobrang hangang-hanga siya sa mga artists tulad ni</i> Melai (Cantiveros)<i> kahit minsan wala siyang maintindihan sa tagalog tawa ng tawa pa rin siya kasi</i> he’s so entertained by the show and the vibe of everyone. He’s just happy for me and he’s fan of the show,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Now that she is performing again, the Kapamilya star said that she hopes of fulfilling her long-time dream of having an album.  “It’s always been a dream so hopefully after You’re Face <i>ma-</i>fulfill <i>naman ‘yung dream na ‘yun,</i>” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Does she also want to star in a musical theater again? “You know what, [if] I would do it, I would love to and I would have to do it <i>na wala akong </i>soap<i> kasi </i>I wouldn’t want <i>na ipagsabay ‘yung dalawa dahil </i>I won’t be able to give my 200% to both but yeah I would love to if the right musical play will come along.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Denise also dreams of performing with Broadway star Lea Salonga. “If she would have me, why not, I would love to. <i>Ang tagal pa ng</i> birthday <i>prod ko</i> but if I have if they give me free range to do a number and I could choose who I want to be with, it will be with her.”</div><div><br/></div>
