Maris Racal admits she felt pressured with first acting gig in ‘Hawak Kamay‘

<img src='' alt='091414-maris_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'><div>Maris Racal admitted that she felt pressured when she got her first acting gig in the primetime soap <i>Hawak Kamay</i> immediately after her stint in the Big Brother house. “Actually <i>sobra po akong nagulat kasi kakalabas ko lang ng bahay tapos sinabak agad ako sa </i>set <i>kasi nong nagulat ako bigla kong minamadali lahat, ‘yung</i> script,<i> pag-</i>sink in <i>ng </i>character<i> ko, so sobrang na-</i>pressure<i> pero</i> tinry<i> ko ‘yung</i> best <i>ko talaga para hindi ako mag mukhang ewan sa</i> screen,” she stated.</div><div><br/></div><div>She said that she feels happy and thankful to be given the opportunity to star in a teleserye alongside actor Piolo Pascual. “At first <i>po nalaman kong may</i> <i>Hawak Kamay</i> <i>si</i> Piolo <i>nong nasa</i> <i>PBB </i>house <i>pa lang kami so parang hindi ko in-</i>expect <i>na makakasama pala ako don, ako pala si</i> Wendy, <i>so parang nakakatuwa po siya tsaka masaya po ako kasi po may</i> project <i>po agad.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>When asked if she had to choose between singing and acting, Maris said that she would still pick singing.<i> “Kung sa dalawa pipiliin ko pa rin ‘yung singing kasi ‘yun na talaga ako na sigurado akong magaling ako.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Maris said that she is open to work with anyone in the industry in her next projects. “Open <i>ako sa lahat kung may</i> project, <i>kung </i>okay <i>siya makatrabaho</i> open <i>ako, kahit sino </i>okay <i>naman.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Maris shared that all of the housemates are still in constant communicaton. <i>“’Yung</i> hang out <i>‘yung </i>boys<i> talaga pero kapag</i> girls active <i>naman kami sa </i>social media,<i> kami nila</i> Loisa we text, hang out <i>kapag may</i> guesting <i>lahat, pero</i> busy <i>na din, pero sa </i>text <i>talaga,”</i> she said.</div><div><br/></div>
