Heaven Peralejo has opened about the health condition of her mother, eight years after she was first diagnosed with uterine cancer.

In a new interview with Karen Davila, the The Iron Heart actress said her mom Shiela Luanne was recently diagnosed with another tumor.

“Just this week lang po, na-diagnose na naman siya with another tumor,” Heaven revealed.

“Hindi pa nga po napa-process ng utak ko. Hindi ko pa rin po alam, kasi we’re still thinking if ipapa-surgery ba siya, kaso ayaw niya na po ng surgery. Kasi buong dibdib niya na po ‘yun. So hindi ko po alam. Parang ayaw ko po muna i-feel.”

Heaven turned emotional as she talked about her love and concern for her mother, saying she is scared of losing her.

“Of course. Like, I would do anything and everything para kay Mom, just to keep her. Kaya I’m working very, very hard kasi gusto kong ibigay sa kanya lahat ng gusto niya,” she said.

“Minsan nag-uusap kami. Sasabihin niya, ‘Oh anak, nalagay ko na sa will ko…’ Sabi ko, ‘Ha?!’ May mga ganyan nang usapan about, like, kung ano nang mangyayari afterward. And ewan ko, it’s hard for me also kasi logically kailangan kong i-face. Pero emotionally, it’s hard to accept.”

Looking back, Heaven said she tried to be strong for her mother during her fight with uterine cancer.

“Actually ate Karen, ito ‘yung weird, nung nalaman kong may cancer siya, never akong umiyak sa harap niya. As in ‘yung best friend ko, pupunta kami ng chapel every morning habang nasa school kami. Iiyak kaming dalawa. Pero ‘pag uwi ko ng bahay dapat happy ulit ako,” she said.

Of her mother, Heaven said she is her “one true love, my soulmate.”

“’Yung pagmamahal ko po sa kanya, hindi [mapapantayan] ng kahit na sino,” she said.

In 2016, Heaven decided to leave the Pinoy Big Brother house to rush to her mother’s side after she found out that she had cancer.

Heaven’s mom was declared cancer-free in 2017.

Proud at masaya ang Kapamilya star na si Heaven Peralejo sa kaniyang naging performance sa pelikulang Nanahimik Ang Gabi kasama ang mga aktor na sina Mon Confiado at Ian Veneracion.

Ang Nanahimik Ang Gabi ay isa sa mga pelikulang kalahok sa 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival. Ito rin ang first ever movie ni Heaven sa MMFF.

Ayon sa Kapamilya leading lady, hindi niya na-imagine na level up ang kaniyang magiging performance sa MMFF movie nang una niyang masilip ang teaser sa social media.

"First time ko po nakita ang sarili ko na ganun, para akong ah, “Si Heaven ba talaga 'yan?’ Parang I didn't see myself doing it, parang I gave my all in this film and the one that you'll see in this film is another Heaven, so I am very excited for you to watch the whole film," ani Kapamilya star sa entertainment press.

Mula sa teaser ng MMFF movie entry, makikita ang sexy and kakaibang atake ni Heaven sa kaniyang role na tila naging dahilan para itanong kung ito na rin ba ang simula nang pag-step up niya sa mga sexy roles.

"Siguro, ibibigay ko na po sa kanila 'yun kasi i think when It comes to my craft siguro parang planado lahat ng ginagawa ko, whatever I choose, whatever my character I put in to, parang everything is calculated so, I don’t think I can see myself in that kind of sense," ani Heaven.

Para sa Kapamilya star na mas nakilala sa kaniyang mga wholesome roles mula sa iba't ibang Kapamilya shows, isa sa mga kondiserasyon aniya ang desisyon ng kaniyang ina na si Luna Peralejo na siya rin tumatayong business manager niya.

"Also, I want to respect my parents’ opinion so if hindi okay sa kanila 'yun, I think I respect that,” paliwanag ni Heaven.

Level up man ang kaniyang naging take sa role sa Nanahimik Ang Gabi, mataas rin aniya ang kaniyang naging respeto sa mga nakasama at naka-trabaho sa proyekto na itinuring siya bilang isang Kapamilya.

"Parang etched in my heart na kumbaga. Siguro ang tagal lang din kasi ng production na ito, sobrang hindi ko alam parang kaming pamilya. Parang ako ang baby girl nila kasi full of guys kasi sila—ang buong production and talagang nakaka-miss to be working with them," pahayag ng Kapamilya star.

Napapanood na sa mga sinehan ang Nanahimik Ang Gabi at iba pang pelikula na kalahok sa 48th edition ng Metro Manila Film Festival hanggang Enero 7, 2023.

It’s that time of the year again: the Metro Manila Film Festival Parade of Stars is back — only it’s bigger and stronger.

The MMFF 2022 Parade of Stars kicked off at the City of Manila-Quezon City border, particularly the Welcome Rotonda roundabout, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

The cast and crew of this year’s entries hopped on their respective floats, traversing a 7.36-kilometer route all the way to another roundabout, the Quezon Memorial Circle, where the parade ended.

Among those present at the event was Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.

The cast of the Nuel Naval-helmed film Family Matters led the parade.

The cast of the Jake Cuenca-led controversial film My Father, Myself, came in second.

Vice Ganda and Ivana Alawi were all smiles as they pass through hundreds of people waiting for them.

My Teacher star Toni Gonzaga can be seen smiling as well to fans eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of her.

Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria waved at fans giving them warm reception during the parade.

Nadine Lustre, along with the rest of the cast of Deleter, also waved at fans who showered them with support during the parade.

Nanahimik ang Gabi stars Ian Veneracion and Heaven Peralejo also came to greet their fans with warm smiles.

The cast of Mamasapano did not miss out on the fun, waving at people who came to support them.

Meanwhile, the MMFF 2022 will run from December 25 to January 7.

Labis na hinangaan ang aktor na si Jameson Blake bilang si Drew Estrella sa successful Kapamilya series na A Family Affair.

Bukod sa pagpapamalas ng kaniyang talento bilang isang mahusay na aktor, isa rin sa hinangaan ang naging chemistry nila ng kaniyang naging on-screen partner na si Heaven Peralejo na ginampanan ang role ni Tori Simbulan.

So yeah, this is pretty much it, you know as friends. We developed a good connection during the show and that helped me also sa mga scenes namin together It was easy to connect sa mga eksena so. And I would say she's a good actor and a good friend,” ani aktor.

Sa usapin ng buhay pag-ibig, nilinaw rin ni Jameson ang single siya ngayon.

“You know, I'm getting older. I mean, I'm open to be honest. I'm open to it now and I'm not it's not like my priority but I'm keeping my doors open. I mean there's whatever happens, happens. But yeah I would say work pa rin ang nasa isip ko and I mean, just to balance everything out,” ani aktor.

Single and ready to mingle rin aniya ang aktor at ibinihagi rin ang qualities ng isang babae na kaniyang hinahanap.

“Siguro understanding, someone who’s understanding. Based on my experience, who would understand my work and understand my lifestyle that there will be days I’ll be busy. And I have to make sure that she understands that kasi long term may not work. So that’s this one thing I noticed that I would prefer that someone will understand din sa side ko rin. Of course, I will be understanding rin as well pero if we’re on the same page it will makes more even better,” pagbabahagi ng aktor.

Bukas rin aniya ang aktor sa posibilidad na non-showbiz ang kaniyang susunod na makarelasyon na mayroong mas pribadong buhay malayo sa show business.

“Well in general naman you can never say naman when you meet someone lalo na when connection went quick. It could be someone in showbiz or someone outside showbiz, pero if you could ask me question I prefer maybe outside showbiz, I guess, just to you know, maybe just to keep things more private I guess. Less maingay I think that’s how I view it pero like what I said kanina, you can never tell what you need,” pahayag ng aktor.

Ang tungkol sa pag-aaral ni Heaven ang isa sa ibinalita niya sa kanyang mga followers sa ginanap na Instagram Live noong nakaraang Linggo, August 16.

Tinanong din si Heaven ng kanyang followers kung may komunikasyon pa ba sila ng mga dati niyang ka-batch sa Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 tulad nina McCoy de Leon, Edward Barbers, Maymay Entrata, Kisses Delavin, at iba pang housemates.

Proud at masaya ang Kapamilya star na si Heaven Peralejo sa kaniyang naging performance sa pelikulang Nanahimik Ang Gabi kasama ang mga aktor na sina Mon Confiado at Ian Veneracion.

Ang Nanahimik Ang Gabi ay isa sa mga pelikulang kalahok sa 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival. Ito rin ang first ever movie ni Heaven sa MMFF.

Ayon sa Kapamilya leading lady, hindi niya na-imagine na level up ang kaniyang magiging performance sa MMFF movie nang una niyang masilip ang teaser sa social media.

"Also, I want to respect my parents’ opinion so if hindi okay sa kanila 'yun, I think I respect that,” paliwanag ni Heaven.

Napapanood na sa mga sinehan ang Nanahimik Ang Gabi at iba pang pelikula na kalahok sa 48th edition ng Metro Manila Film Festival hanggang Enero 7, 2023.
