Kris Aquino took to social media to share an update about her health.

In her latest Instagram post, the television host shared the recent results of her blood panel.

"There’s something I chose not to reveal, but I feel I must. There were some abnormalities in my blood panel. My hemoglobin hit an all time low, and my sodium was as always low, BUT my potassium also dropped. If I want to get healthier it starts with my nutrition," she relayed.

Kris shared that she will be getting iron infusions moving forward.

"Hindi ko kaya ang iron supplements. Starting next week I’ll be getting iron infusions. My Churg Strauss syndrome can affect many organs because it causes damage to blood vessels. My lungs have already shown some minor damage, but my now heart is showing signs of exhaustion- just to pump blood that lacks nutrients all over my body, kailangan mag overcompensate," she said.

The television host pointed out that nutrition will be key for her condition to get better.

"Dr. Malika explained to me that my heart rate going up to 130-135 after taking a shower, my constant constant dizzy spells, and headaches are already a warning for me that unless I start trying to eat real food and not rely on milk alone, I could be among the 7 out of 10 patients with Churg Strauss who attribute their death to heart failure," she said.

Kris also showed the green juice that her son Bimby prepared for her.

"Bimb prepared the green juice: cucumber, apple, and a lot of spinach. Baby steps, kale will come soon- my food intake is really a problem. And my weight loss. I was knocked out because of my exhaustion from having both my Dupixent & Methotrexate injected into me on Wednesday, so I missed our Thanksgiving celebration," she said.

"Tomorrow, Sunday if my chronic sinusitis has stopped, I’ll try to walk around with Bimb & my nurse. Bawal ang unnecessary stress. Let’s please continue praying for one another," Kris added.

Dominique Cojuangco is going to be a mother.

The fashion designer and daughter of actress Gretchen Barretto announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Michael Hern. She shared the news with her fans on Instagram alongside a video showing her husband touching her belly.

“Little blessing arriving in 2024,” she captioned her post.

Following her announcement, fans and friends of Dominique congratulated her on the milestone, including Iza Calzado, Sofia Andres, Ria Atayde, and more.

“So happy for you!!!!” wrote Iza.

“Been waiting for this announcement,” said Sofia. “Congratulations! Welcome to Motherhood.”

“Ahhhhhhh,” added Ria.

Dominique tied the knot with her husband at San Agustin Church in Manila last March 4, after over a year of being engaged.

They announced their engagement in October 2021, after more than three years of being a couple.

Chatting with Metro Magazine last year, Dominique revealed how their love story unfolded.

"Michael and I met in British School Manila way back, but it was not until Michael launched Run Rabbit Run in 2018 that we saw each other in a new light," she said.

Run Rabbit Run is the cocktail bar that Michael owns.

“It was at that moment that we looked at each other differently and we were shocked to have the same experience,” Dominique added.

Dominique, 28, is Gretchen's only daughter with her partner, business tycoon Tony Boy Cojuangco.

She is a fashion designer.

In early 2020, Dominique graduated magna cum laude from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in California.

Before obtaining a degree in Associate of Arts degree in Merchandising and Marketing at FIDM, she took up fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in London.

Aside from being a couple, Dominique and her fiancé are also business partners. In 2021, they put up The Collective, a skincare line that aims to "demystify skincare and beauty" to make them easily accessible to everyone, as stated on its website.

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo marked the end of her concert series with rock icon Bamboo in the Philippines as she shared photos from the last leg of their provincial tour on Friday, November 24.

In an Instagram post, the 35-year-old Kapamilya singer shared some photos of her and Bamboo together at the Sta. Rosa City Multi-Purpose Complex in Laguna.

“Maraming Salamat, Laguna! That's it for SarahGxBamboo this 2023! (winking emoji)," she wrote in her post.

Sarah also included a photo of her carrying her and husband, actor Matteo Guidicelli’s pet dog Liya, which was also in attendance during the event.

The popstar royalty also shared with her followers some of their onstage and backstage moments in the same post.

Matteo also showed support for his wife’s last local tour with Bamboo by posting several photos from the event’s offstage moments.

“Last leg of the SG x Bamboo local tour! Looking forward to see what’s next!!” he said.

The highly anticipated Sarah G x Bamboo concert, dubbed as “this year's biggest concert collab” by concert organizer G Productions, kicked off in an epic musical experience at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City last July.

The organizers then announced the Pampanga, Cebu City, and Davao provincial tours at the SMX Convention Center Clark, IEC Convention Center, and SMX Convention Center Davao between September and October.

However, last September 29, the concert production company Viva Live, Inc. announced through their Instagram account that the Pampanga leg of the tour scheduled for October 1 was postponed to October 29 due to Sarah’s health condition.

“Unfortunately, our Popstar Royalty needs to rest due to an unexpected medical condition. Her health is now our top priority," Viva said.

They added: “We ask for everyone’s understanding and support for the fast recovery of Sarah Geronimo. Thank you and Sarah is excited to perform for all of her Kapangpangan fans soon.”

Sarah then posted on X (formerly Twitter) asking everyone for their understanding following the sudden postponement, reassuring fans that the much-awaited tour will still happen.

“Hi, guys... I’m so sorry we have to reschedule our Pampanga show due to medical reasons. Thank you for your support and understanding.. my dear Popsters," she said.

It’s been over a year since Linlang actress Heaven Peralejo graduated from college, but it was only last November 25 that she officially marched, which coincided with her 24th birthday.

The 24-year-old Kapamilya star shared a glimpse of her graduation ceremony on Instagram, much to the delight of her supporters.

Heaven graduated from Southville International School with a degree in Business Management.

“Starting my 24th year with a degree as I officially march as a graduate. Onto bigger and better things,” she wrote in the caption.

In her post, Heaven shared with her followers photos from her graduation. Her peers who were in attendance also cheered her on as she proudly marched towards the stage after her name was called.

Meanwhile, friends and fans greeted the actress for celebrating not just one but two milestones.

“Amazing! Congratulations, anak,” Iza Calzado commented.

“Congratulations bebe 👏❤️and happy happy birthday back-to-back celebration,” one fan remarked.

In a previous post, Heaven expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported her as she pursued her education. She admitted that it never crossed her mind to graduate from college as she was already earning from being an actress.

“My mom kept on reminding me (more on to the nagging side na 🤪) pasok ang litanya 'Ang pag aartista pwedeng mawala anytime. Pero kung nakatapos ka pwede mong magamit ito to change career.' Sampol pa lang 'yan sa mga sermon ni Mom dagdagan pa ng Barangay Family (eto talaga ang nakakatakot sa lahat!!! Parang lagi kang haharap sa thesis defense🤣🤣🤣)," she said.

"That being said, best support system talaga ang family. I’m very thankful for them, they keep me grounded,” she added.

2023 has been a busy year for the actress who starred in several projects, including Linlang and The Rain in España.

Michelle Dee received a warm welcome from her Filipino fans upon her arrival in the Philippines on Saturday, November 25 following the Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador.

She was also all praises for the dedication of the Filipino pageant fans when the voting part came during the Miss Universe pageant.

Michelle finished in the top 10 in the recently concluded Miss Universe pageant.

A day before the online premiere of her first-ever Netflix-produced Filipino series Replacing Chef Chico, showrunner and director Antoinette Jadaone talked about creating the series, which puts a spotlight on our unique local cuisine.

“Kinakabahan kasi mamaya mapapanood na ng lahat ng tao ang Replacing Chef Chico. Pero mas nangingibabaw 'yung nakaka-proud kasi finally meron na tayong first Filipino-produced Netflix original series," she shared during the Replacing Chef Chico presscon.

She went on: "The main takeaway of the show I think is 'yung Filipino food, lalo siyang sumasarap kasi kinakain natin siya with the people we love. And 'yun 'yung lalabas in every episode of Replacing Chef Chico."

"Yes we feature Filipino cuisine, laing, adobo, kare-kare, pero in every episode, merong story na kasama ka sa hapag kainan na hindi ka lang audience kundi kasama ka sa hapag kainan ng mga guests doon sa restauarant na Hain,” she continued.

As a food lover herself, Direk Tonette shared all the preparation and research that the show entailed before they started taping along with the show’s director and her real-life partner, Dan Villegas.

“Kami ni Dan, sobrang mahilig kami sa tasting menu, 'yung mga degustation even before we were on developing Replacing Chef Chico. Pero for the preparation, we interviewed a lot of chefs and we had to go to kitchens. They invited us into their kitchens para makita kung gaano ka-stressful talaga sa kitchen. We interviewed female chefs, and male chefs," Tonette explained.

"We saw what the whole day looks like for a chef. Kahit hindi head chef, sous chef, ganyan. And for every episode, depending on the guest, we would interview a real person na for example sa isang episode, merong isang may Alzheimer’s. So, we had to really interview a doctor and someone who has Alzheimer’s for a family member," she added.

"We know how important it is for chefs in real life to see na very authentic yung show. Yes, it’s fictional but it must be based on real life. So we were very diligent in doing our research and interviews with the writers and with Dan and his team also. Sa pre-production, sa scriptwriting, we interviewed the Toyo team and then yung restaurant na Toyo, and then on set we had four chefs,” she continued.

Direk Tonette admitted that whenever she had a new project, she would get strength and confidence from her support system.

“I keep a trusted group of friends na I know na pag nagbigay sila ng critique, hindi 'yun para laitin ako or to make me feel bad. But I know na gusto nilang sa susunod na gawa ko maging, mas maganda hindi dahil makapanlait lang," she said.

"At the same time, these are the people na kapag kailangan mo ng tao na mag-pu-push sa‘yo dahil sobrang down ka na sa ginagawa mo, feeling mo ang pangit ng ginagawa mo, walang kwenta. I also listen to the same group of trusted friends kasi sila rin yung mas nakakakilala sa akin,” she addded.

Replacing Chef Nico stars Piolo Pascual, Alessandra de Rossi, and Sam Milby.

The series is directed by Dan Villegas, created by Antoinette Jadaone, and produced for Netflix in association with CS Studios and Project 8 Projects. It is now available for streaming only on Netflix.

Dominique Cojuangco is going to be a mother.

“Little blessing arriving in 2024,” she captioned her post.

Following her announcement, fans and friends of Dominique congratulated her on the milestone, including Iza Calzado, Sofia Andres, Ria Atayde, and more.

Dominique tied the knot with her husband at San Agustin Church in Manila last March 4, after over a year of being engaged.

They announced their engagement in October 2021, after more than three years of being a couple.

Chatting with Metro Magazine last year, Dominique revealed how their love story unfolded.

"Michael and I met in British School Manila way back, but it was not until Michael launched Run Rabbit Run in 2018 that we saw each other in a new light," she said.

Run Rabbit Run is the cocktail bar that Michael owns.

“It was at that moment that we looked at each other differently and we were shocked to have the same experience,” Dominique added.

Dominique, 28, is Gretchen's only daughter with her partner, business tycoon Tony Boy Cojuangco.

She is a fashion designer.

In early 2020, Dominique graduated magna cum laude from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in California.

Before obtaining a degree in Associate of Arts degree in Merchandising and Marketing at FIDM, she took up fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in London.

Dominique Cojuangco is expecting her first child with her husband, Michael Hern.

In an interview with Vogue Hong Kong in August, Mackenyu relayed that it meant a lot for him to be part of One Piece as he was a fan of the series growing up.

"When I stepped foot on that Going Merry ship… It was something else. I couldn’t wait to tell all my friends and brag about it. It was just awesome. It’s hopefully going to be a special experience for the fans too. We really brought One Piece to life and I just hope they’re going to like it, too," he said.

Filipino fans will finally see Mackenyu up close today, November 20.

In 2021, Japanese actor Mackenyu became part of the live-action film adaptation of the animé Rurouni Kenshin: The Final, where he played the role of villain Yukishiro Enishi. This year, Pinoy fans came to rediscover him as the heartthrob Zoro in One Piece.

MediaKing, Luxe Skin, and Luxe Slim are bringing Mackenyu's first official fan meeting in Asia, titled "This Closer To You Mackenyu" to the country. Fans will not only get to see Mackenyu in person but also witness his many talents, learn more about him, and bond with him up close. It's an event that fans won't want to miss.

After first rising to fame after portraying Arata Wataya in the Chihayafuru live-action trilogy in 2016, the 26-year-old actor won the Newcomer of the Year Award at the 40th Annual Japan Academy.

Aside from acting, Mackenyu is also a budding musician and has been playing the piano since he was 10. He later participated in the brass band of his high school in Beverly Hills, playing saxophone and flute. He showcased his impressive singing voice after making a cover of the hit pop song The Chainsmokers' "Closer" a couple of years ago.

One person instrumental in making Mackenyu’s fan event possible is Mr. Jerry Blank, the former Business Development Manager of the late Stan Lee of Marvel. He has presented the idea of bringing the rising star to the Philippines to MediaKing Corp. President and CEO Michael “Mike” Flores and another co-producer, Magkawas Beauty & Wellness founder and CEO Ms. Anna Magkawas.

“When it was brought to my attention, I immediately looked him up on Google and social media platforms. I saw he has great potential in his recent stats. Weeks before, I happened to see on Netflix that One Piece is one of the top favorites of Filipino viewers. When I finished One Piece, I saw the potential of Mackenyu," Mike Flores said.

"I did [my] research and had my staff reach out to Mackenyu Fan Groups. There was one single message from them and that fans want to see him closer and more intimately. [I] talked with Jerry, and he helped me get Mackenyu. Thus, this "Closer to You Mackenyu Fun Fan Meet is born," he added.

"We arranged all premium giveaways to those who will come and see Mackenyu, like personally signed photos, tote bags, posters, and even fans who may have a chance to win in games and have a chance to ask Mackenyu questions and have a memorable photo with him. Mackenyu himself might surprise his fans. Who knows?” he continued.

Aware of Mackenyu’s character Zoro in One Piece, Magkawas Beauty & Wellness founder and CEO Ms. Anna Magkawas shared their interest in making the event happen.

“When Mike and Isha of MediaKing Corp. presented this Mackenyu project, me and my dear bhie, Mel, became interested. Mel is a big fan of One Piece's Zoro. My vibration tells me that bringing Mackenyu answers the demand of the humongous and loyal fans to see him closer and experience a more intimate encounter with him," Anna Magkawas said.

One Piece star Mackenyu is set to hold a fan meeting at the SM Mall of Asia Arena this November.

MediaKing Corp. announced on Tuesday, October 31, that the Japanese star will be meeting his Filipino fans at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on November 20 at his "Closer To You: Fun Fan Meet."

The events organizer shared that ticket prices and seat plan will be announced soon.

Filipino fans online were quick to express their excitement following the announcement.

Meanwhile, it was also previously announced that Mackenyu will be attending the 2023 Manila Pop Culture Convention (ManiPopCon) happening at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay from November 17 to 19.

ManiPopCon previously posted a video of the Japanese actor inviting his Filipino fans to catch him at the event.

"To all my Filipino fans out there, I'm happy to share that I'll be appearing at the ManiPopCon in Manila on November 17th to the 19th. See you guys there," he said in the clip.

Mackenyu's rise to global stardom was propelled by his recent role in the Netflix live-action adaptation of One Piece.

In the series, he brought to life the character of Roronoa Zoro, a highly accomplished swordsman and famed bounty hunter celebrated for his expertise in the "Three Swords Style" martial art. Zoro's ultimate aspiration is to claim the prestigious title of the world's finest swordsman.

Other acting projects of Mackenyu include Knights Of The Zodiac, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Revenge of Scar, and The Master Plan, among others.

In an interview with Vogue Hong Kong in August, Mackenyu shared that he was a fan of One Piece growing up that it meant a lot being part of the series.

"When I stepped foot on that Going Merry ship… It was something else. I couldn’t wait to tell all my friends and brag about it. It was just awesome. It’s hopefully going to be a special experience for the fans too. We really brought One Piece to life and I just hope they’re going to like it, too," he said.

One Piece actor Mackenyu is coming to the Philippines.

The Japanese star is set to take part in the 2023 Manila Pop Culture Convention (ManiPopCon) which will be happening at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay from November 17 to 19.

In a video posted by ManiPopCon on social media, the One Piece star expressed his elation to visit the country.

"To all my Filipino fans out there, I'm happy to share that I'll be appearing at the ManiPopCon in Manila on November 17th to the 19th. See you guys there," he said.

Filipino fans were quick to express their excitement following the news.

"Omg see you!" one fan commented.

"How to get tickets?" another fan wrote.

Mackenyu further catapulted to international fame after recently starring in the live-action adaptation of One Piece on Netflix.

The actor portrayed Roronoa Zoro, a skilled master of the sword and a renowned bounty hunter, known for his mastery of the "Three Swords Style" martial art. His ultimate goal is to attain the title of the world's greatest swordsman.

ManiPopCon founder Marco Aventajado shared with ABS-CBN News how they were able to invite the Japanese actor to the event.

Marco shared that they actually extended an invite to Mackenyu when One Piece was still set to premiere on Netflix.

"One of our team members, Andy, brought up this actor, Mackenyu, that was coming out in a Netflix adaption of an anime. And this was mga May or June. And we're like okay, let's see. We inquired with their management and we took it from there," he stated.

He added: "It was a gamble and it looks like it's going to pay off. Because he's a really great guy and a lot of fans are excited ngayon pa lang that he's coming. Actually, even my kids are excited," Aventajado added.

Fans will be able to have photo and autograph opportunities with Mackenyu via the limited tickets that ManiPopCon will be selling.

Photo opportunity with the Japanese actor will be priced at ₱6,000 while autograph opportunity will be at ₱5,500.

"There will be 300 slots for the photo op and 300 slots for the autograph per day for two days," Marco relayed.

Denise Laurel was all praises for Korean actor Choi Woo-shik whom she got to meet during his fan meeting in Manila recently.

In an Instagram post, Denise shared her snapshots with the actor and shared her experience meeting him in person.

Woo-shik held his Manila fan meeting titled "Choi Woo-shik 2023 Fanmeeting Tour in Philippines: Pinky Promise" on November 16 at SM North Edsa Sky Dome.

Woo-shik had his acting debut in 2011 in The Duo.

He recently starred in the hit K-Drama Our Beloved Summer.

In an interview with The Korea Times in 2022, Woo-shik shared that he immediately loved the script of Our Beloved Summer the moment he read it so he decided to do the series.

"I really loved the series' script. After reading it, I had to get on board. I was dying to take the role," he remarked.

Woo-shik remarked that doing a light romantic series like Our Beloved Summer was a breath of fresh air for him.

A 20-year-old Filipina is among the finalists of the audition program The Debut: Dream Academy formed by South Korean company HYBE and American record label Geffen Records.

Filipina Sophia Laforteza was one of the contestants unveiled on Tuesday, August 29. She will be competing alongside other contestants from different parts of the world including Thailand, USA, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Switzerland, Australia, Belarus, Argentina, Sweden, and Slovakia.

The contestants will be competing for a spot for the very first HYBE X Geffen Records global girl group.

According to a report by Billboard, the 20 finalists were chosen from over 120,000 submissions since they announced the audition in 2021.

"I have wanted to form an international group based on K-pop methodology for a while," HYBE Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk remarked at a press event as reported by Billboard.

"To do this, I believed we needed a capable partner. When I met [Interscope Geffen A&M Records CEO] John [Janick], from the first moment, we both felt instantly that we had a connection, musically and creatively. I am very proud of the rich history we have made and the tremendous talent we have found. I am proud of the opportunities we have created within the K-pop universe," he added.

John described the journey of creating a global group an exciting moment for music fans.

"Since we began our partnership two years ago, Bang and I have often spoken about our shared beliefs in artist development, music and creativity.
